His father left his a black sword which disappears into air and can reappear when JJ summons it. His mother left him a white necklace that can heal minor wounds on JJ. When JJ was 6, a fire at a house he was near got him caught in it and almost killed him, but he blacked out and when he awoke he was in the middle of nothing. He is now 16 and he met a girl named Jamie Neverafter and her father - the 10 years in between, he decides to lock up into his mind
