Chapter 1 - fogiven

Why did you do this?
Were you really that unhappy?
I wish you didn’t do it,
But I can’t change the past.

I also remember the good old days,
When I was happy and my life was looking sky high.
But when your momma died,
Everything I ever cared for didn’t matter anymore.

Everything was such a blur,
My whole life had been turned upside down.
I was too upset to realise that you were there,
That you needed my help.

I can remember you being so upset one night,
Forever crying into your pillow,
I wanted to comfort you, truly I did,
But grief held me back.

When I found you in your room,
Everything snapped back in to focus.
How could I have been so blind?
Your momma would be so ashamed of me.

Now I stand by your grave,
Thinking of all the things I could of done.
Please tell your mom,
That I love her and I love you, always and forever.
