Chapter 2 - "Don't Give Up"

She sits at home hiding from all the lies
Her body's bruised, her heart's torn up inside
Her endless sobs echo throughout the room
She's giving up, she has nothing left to lose
Her tremblin' hands grasp the gun
As her friends are out havin' fun
She closes her eyes with all of her might
Her fingers against the trigger as her friends dance under the flashin' lights

Is this really it?
Has it really come to this?

Don't give up, think this through
Do you really think death is what you must choose?
Don't lose yourself, you can stop the pain
Life's too short to simply throw it away
Don't lose hope, Stand strong and fight
Believe in yourself, Believe in life

He stands in the rain, thinking of her
Her kindness, her love, everything he didn't deserve
The scene replays, he took her life away
He cries over her final resting place
Pain in his heart he searches for relief
His bloods already bleeding through his sleeves
He places the blade against his throat
He pictures her and abandons all hope

Is this really it?
