Chapter 1 - Untitled
You and Me,
We’re like brother and sister.
We we’re inseparable
We spent numerous summers together.
All fun-filled days
Hanging out,
‘Till really late at night.
Bike Riding,
Roller-skating,
Kickball,
Soccer.
We would hang out for hours
Doing anything and everything,
‘Till we got tired of talking.
Now that we’re older
We’ve grown apart.
You moved away.
It’s now been, what?
Five years?
Don’t you think it’s time,
That we get together,
And hang out like old times?
Please, I miss you
And I need to see you.
I’m sure you miss me too.
All I ask is a visit-Once in a while,
Or a phone call-every so often.
Then, maybe, I can
Put my mind at ease…
And stop missing you.
We’re like brother and sister.
We we’re inseparable
We spent numerous summers together.
All fun-filled days
Hanging out,
‘Till really late at night.
Bike Riding,
Roller-skating,
Kickball,
Soccer.
We would hang out for hours
Doing anything and everything,
‘Till we got tired of talking.
Now that we’re older
We’ve grown apart.
You moved away.
It’s now been, what?
Five years?
Don’t you think it’s time,
That we get together,
And hang out like old times?
Please, I miss you
And I need to see you.
I’m sure you miss me too.
All I ask is a visit-Once in a while,
Or a phone call-every so often.
Then, maybe, I can
Put my mind at ease…
And stop missing you.
