Chapter 3 - little trouble

“ Well you guys always did complain that it was too cold up here and you said you wanted it to be warmer. So Suzerain’s was just giving you what you wanted.” I said with a joking manner. “ Well you won’t be laughing when I’m finished with you.” Telikashi said holding his sword out then swung at me with his sword but missed and hit the tree behind me and getting it stuck. “ Oh well look at the time it was nice talking to you but I really must be going.” I said as I left and headed in the sky and hid behind a cloud. “ Oh come now Kino don’t do this you know this isn’t the way things were supposed to be. Why don’t you come and work for us again its been different without you.” He said flying up after me and started to look for me. “ Not a chance, being on the side that I’m on now has given me things I’ve never had before, your side had just always brought me pain and sorrow. And I regret joining your side.” I said making my voice echo in the clouds. “ Now, now you know that’s not true. It was just a few tests…but I would like to know what did you do to the Suzerain to get him to let you be on his side?” He said looking around. “ I did nothing but ask for forgiveness and he gave me a second chance that your side wouldn’t ever give me.” I responded. “Well that’s how it is with us Malicious Angels. Nothings ever fair on our side and you know it. So just show yourself and I’ll kill you fast and easy.” He said in an evil manner. “ No thanks I think I’ll pass on that. Not like I want to be killed after promising a village I’d help them out.” I said slowly leaving and finally made it safely back to Lisa’s house and went inside. “ What happened out there? You look tired. ” Lisa asked me as she handed me a glass of lemonade. “ Here this should cool you off.” She said to me as I took the glass and drank it. “ I ran into some trouble on the way…that’s all though I think Telikashi will be back here when he finds out I’m not in the clouds anymore.” I told her as I put the glass down, got up, and got my sword and put it away in my belt. “ I have to go and find Telikashi before he causes anymore trouble in town.” I said as I left. “Be careful.” Lisa said as I disappeared in the forest. “ Telikashi! Show yourself!” I yelled as I walk in an open meadow area. “ Finally. I thought you were cowarding on me Kino.” Telikashi said as he jumped down from the tree. “ I wasn’t. I had to get my sword.” I said pulling my sword out from my belt and put it in front of me. “ Finally you want to fight with a fair warning. I’m so glad we can have a civilized fight without any interruptions.” Telikashi said as he pulled his sword out from his sword holster. “ So what are we waiting for?” I said looking at him. “ Well I thought you were suppose to go first. Oh well.” Telikashi said as he lunged forward and swung his sword at me. I blocked it and the fight began. It seems to have gone on forever. Finally I got him down. His eyes widened as I put the sword closer to his neck. “So are you through playing hooky with me or do I have to kill you” I said to him as he panted. “ Fine you win. But me losing won’t stop the Dark side from getting what they want.” He said staring at me with anger in his eyes. “ No the good side always wins. If you ever read the stories.” I said to him removing my sword and picking him up by the collar. “This story will be different. I can promise you that seeing as the hero or main character will die before his comrades can even help him.” He responded back. “ What do you mean?” I asked him looking at him with a confused look on my face. “ Well for one this will let you to know to never mess with the dark side again.” Telikashi said as he grabbed his dagger and got me in the stomach. I dropped him and fell to the ground clutching my stomach tightly. “ Told you, Kino the good side will never win.” He told me as he went to hit me again and almost got me on the back when all of the sudden he got stopped by an arrow that got him in the arm. He turned around to see the villagers on the other side of the meadow standing ready and armed with bows and arrows faced toward him. Knowing he couldn’t do anything he flew off covering his arm and disappearing into the clouds. The villagers ran over to me and picked me up and brought me to the village nurse, which was Lisa. As soon as she saw what had happened she got her bandages and medicine and started to bandage me up. “What happened?” she asked me as she washed the wound off with warm water. “ I got tricked that’s what. *Sigh* I shouldn’t have let my guard down like that.” I said wincing. “ There you go that should do it.” She said as she finally got done bandaging me up. “ I need to go and find Telikashi I have to stop him again he might get to people in the village.” I said standing up but then fell. Lisa caught me and put me on the bed and told me I needed to get rest so I fell asleep. The next day I awoke once again to the smell of food but this time she brought it in my room and was waiting for me to get up so we could eat together. “ Good morning sleepy head.” Lisa said to me as she helped me sit up. I thought we could eat breakfast together today. “ Okay…I guess. Hey Lisa…” I started and she looked at me. “ Thanks for helping me and thank the villagers for they’re help as well. That was really nice of them to help me out like that.” I said as she gave me a plate of food. “ I will but first lets get something in our stomachs. Careful it’s still hot.” Lisa said getting herself something to eat as well. “ Thanks it’s really good.” I told her as we ate. Then we finally got done and she picked the dishes up and cleaned them. After she was gone I got up to stretch. Then I looked out the window to see my friend Kerooto waiting out side. I opened the window and went outside and went up to him.” Hey Kero! What are you doing here? ” I asked him. “ Well Suzerain was getting a little worried and wanted to know how you were doing.” Kero said to me. “ Well I’m fine…for now. But he’ll be happy to know that we were able to save the people of this village.” I told him rubbing my wound. “Well that’s good…what happened to your stomach it looks like you got hit.” He said with a worried look on his face. “ Yah but I’m ok. Actually if it weren’t for the villagers here I would have been killed.” I told him smiling. “Oh. Well its nice to know your okay I’ll report back to the Suzerain that your okay.” He said as he flew off and disappeared into the clouds. The next few Days were boring. I got better fast and I was watching over the city. There was a crash sound that came from town I hurried to see what it was. But when I got there… there wasn’t anything wrong. So I just went back to where I stood guard. So once again it was boring…again. But then a few days later I heard the sound again. I flew to where the sound came from…but still no one else saw or heard it…it was like there was a little demon or something in town causing trouble. So when I heard it again I flew around to see if there was a little annoying pest and of course. It was Chivo the little henchman…or he looked younger from the last time I saw him. I went over to where he was causing trouble between to kid. “Chivo” I said glaring at him. “Oh…uh…hee hee him Kino…what you doing here?” He said backing away as if he knew what was going to happen to him. “ I was just…uh leaving bye” he said jumping off the child and of course he just had to drag the child up then drop him I flew up and caught the kid. But I hurried and put him down and went after Chivo. “Chivo!” I said angrily as I drew closer to him. He made a quit turn sending me to hit a wall but lucky for me I remembered a move the Suzerain showed me I turned one wing left and the other right then flapped really hard. It stopped me. But I lost Chivo. “ I’ll get you Chivo I promise you that.” I said to myself as I made my way back to my look out spot. A few days later Chivo was back for another fight. But this time I snuck up on him and grabbed his little tail and pulled him away from the person he was trying to harm. “ So you think your funny don’t you?” I said giving him a death glare. “Oh…ummm…do…I think I am…so how have you been doing?” he said nervously.“ Nice try Chivo trust me theses people will be safer after I throw you in the trash.” I told him showing my sword. “Gulp…ummm… now now lets not be hasty.” He said staring at the sword nervously.” Don’t worry I’ll put your tricky little mind at peace” I said raising the sword then all of the sudden I heard a cry for help and gave Chivo a glare then dropped him and left. “OW!!!” Chivo yelled then started to run off thinking to himself “~that was a close one thank goodness there are more than just one of us. ~ “ I found Lisa lying on the floor of her room I ran over to her to see what was wrong but when I reached her she…disappeared. “ It’s a Trap” I said to myself then turned to see if anyone was there. “Well well well look who finally decided to show up. “ I heard a voice say then turned around and saw Hirochi standing behind me with his sword in his hand. “ Hirochi where is she?!” I said angrily. “Where’s who...oh you mean the girl...well I was going to hold her as a hostage but she got annoying so I got rid of her.” He said giving an evil smile. “ What did you do with her?!” I yelled again this time getting my sword out ready to fight. “Don’t lose your wings she’ll be fine as long as you tell me what I want.” He responded. “…Fine! What do you want?” I asked looking down at the ground. “GoodI knew you’d listen to me. Okay tell me where you took Chivo. We can’t find him anywhere…you didn’t kill him…did you cause if that’s the case than I’ll just kill your new girlfriends as well.” He said giving a wondering look. “ Don’t you dare hurt her. And no I didn’t do anything with your stupid rat.” I responded. “Now you know better than to lie where did you put him?!” He yelled angrily. “ I don….” I got cut off. “ Hirochi!!!” Came a little voice it was Chivo and he headed over to Hirochi. “Chivo!” Hirochi said taking Chivo in his arms. “ Where were you?” “ I was in the forest looking for you guys. Where else.” Chivo said to Hirochi and they disappeared. “ Hirochi I think your forgetting something!” I yelled flailing my arms. “ Oh you want her back?...fine take her we don’t want anything to do with that girl.“ He said snapping his fingers and made Lisa appear then left with Chivo.
