Chapter 1 - Yin and Yang

Okay, I was in 6th grade when all of this stuff happend and it did
not really bother me then. Now I am a High School senior, a lot
older, and realize what an effect it had on even me from so far away.
Yes, Eric and Dylan were being teased and harassed by the jocks and
stuff in school, but that happens in all schools. No matter where you
are. I understand their pain because I have been there too. I also
understand what it is like to be popular as well, and that's no treat
either. Both sides have good and bad. Just the bad took over that one
time. The focus should really be on the pain of both sides. Yes, Eric
and Dylan were hurting...However, so were others after that. Pain
begets pain in a never ending circle. Forever Eric and Dylan will be
remembered, but not in the ways they should have been. Not as
respected, good people. But as people who killed 13 people and who
are now hated by the majority of the world. The people who died will
be remembered more because they were loved. It's yin and yang and
there's no stopping it. You would have to stop life itself. However,
between all of this, I am here typing on my little computer, and
realizing the huge finality of all. But you know what? I came through
the same darkness Eric and Dylan did. If they had the strength in
their hands to hold the guns, they had the strength in their hearts
to heal. Which, if they had been given more time on all sides, they
all would have.
