Chapter 10 - Home Coming

Sapphire ran to her brother, who was lying in a pool of blood. “James!” she screamed. Java stepped over toward him and placed a greenish gem on a chain around his neck. It flashed, then James stood up, just fine. “Whew, thanks Java!” he yelled. He turned to Sapphire, who was staring. She had reason to. Two pearly green wings had sprouted out of his shoulders. “You’re a Dragoon now!” Sapphire yelled. James smiled happily, looking at his back. "You can live with us now!!" He took a look at Sapphire, then Rahan, the only home he ever knew. After a long look, he grabbed Sapphire's hand and flew to the Dragon City with her, Java and the other Dragons. After a well deserved nap, who knows what adventures they’ll have next!
