Chapter 1 - Active Night
Chapter 1 - Active Night
The shadows come where night should fall,
The stars appear, the trees grow tall.
Dusk is here and dawn shall come,
A lead of loneliness only for some.
Sleep will posess my only thought,
Everything I know, everything I taught.
Take me away to my own land of dreams,
Of mystical creatures and unending streams.
Where fear is unheard of, and joy reins free,
I'll stay here forever in this land made by me.
The future, the past, the unconsious present,
Dream of what is true, tell me what it isn't.
Hold my body and embrace my soul,
Bring to me warmth that makes me whole.
Ever so suddenly, darkness turns bright,
I open my eyes to what is no longer night.
Sunrays like ice, overtake my room,
To wait until night's dark shadows resume.
