Chapter 1 - Lost in Memories

Without you by my side,
I'm falling apart.
I feel a pain that reaches,
Deep inside my heart.
I miss you even more,
Every day that goes by.
Afraid to move on,
Unsure if I should try.
I stare out the window,
And watch winter come,
I wonder where you are today,
Under this blinding sun.
I always think about you,
For you never leave my mind,
But I feel so lost without you,
As if I'm left behind.
I've opened my heart,
And where has it lead?
To only more confusion,
Inside of my head.
Every day goes by,
This feeling grows more.
I need to know your there,
For my heart is so sore.
I see myself with you,
In all my future years,
And here I'll stay with only you,
Through all the hardtimes and the tears.
