A heart craves to see the light,
One who can't see.
A lonely spirit stalks the night,
Waiting there for me.

Why must you go when times get rough,
Please don't leave.
Everything in life seems so tough,
My heart can only grieve.

Your soul guides my every move,
I need you here.
Without you I have nothing to prove,
I can only fear.

The ice coats my soul and mind,
Leaving me cold.
My mind and heart are in a bind,
I have no hold.
