Chapter 1 - This Is It

An Angel with blackened, crooked wings descends from the Heavens
His face so beautiful, everything is in awe
The Broken Angel looks about, his gaze stops at an old, feeble woman
Showing off his ivory teeth, he smiles at her warmly
He holds out his hand, beckoning the woman to come
Without hesitation, she steps forward, stumbling, her face wrenched with pain
The weak figure finally makes it to her destination, panting
The Angel continues to grin, as he bends over
He places a kiss on her forehead, both cheeks and finally, gently on the lips
The woman begins to smile, as her being starts to change
Her face begins to plumpen up, her thinned gray hair becomes golden and full
Finally, her eyes gleams an ocean color but, only to turn murky and dead right after
That smile of hers is still there...
Chuckling to himself, the Angel slowly brings out his sythe
He swiftly lops off her head and carves out her heart
As the Blood drips off his arm, he looks at the cold head, which was still smiling
He kisses her lips again, before he took off back into the sky
Hell, it's easy being Death.
