Chapter 1 - midnight dreary

Once upon a midnight dreary
In a room that was so leary
I heard a tap-taping rapping on my window,
on that midnight dreary
'a ghost!' i thought,
in that room so leary,
for my window was clear,
but the tap-tapping continued it rapping,
i rose with a start, to the tap-tapping
there was a dove, on my sill
that midnight dreary.

'What a fool' i called myself
for seeing the dove
in that flash of lightning,
on that midnight dreary,
the dove then flew off into
the midnight dreary
and left me in that
room so leary.

(yes I was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's "the Raven" so don't flame me for it...also i hope you liked it plz review!)
