I relinquish the thought
That once brought me to my knees
I'm helpless upon your smile, though,
It kills me when you don't

For all this time,
I shuddered,
How foolish was I
To think you'd be amused,
I said no, don't play that game

So do you feel the difference?
You gave your example
My thoughts racing over reaction

Before I knew it,
I felt your touch
In an invisible embrace,
As I invisibly smiled,
I touched your face

I felt warmth,
I felt exhaustion,
Upon your skin

Spin me round,
I'm never letting go again
