Chapter 1 - Untitled
It smells like rain,So I wait for it to come. The clouds seem to refrain,And still no rain has come. The ash and willow, They wait patiently for it to fall.Water that will keep their leaves from turning yellow,Just healthy and green and all. Then I listen,Two, three, four drops beat against the window.I look outside and see the leaves glisten,Water gliding down the stems of the ash and willow. It smells like rain,And it sounds like it too.Little drops slide down the pane,Until the sky returns to blue.
