Chapter 1 - First Verse

Drip drop go my tears on the window sil

in time to the pouring rain

that is still

beating on the outside window pane.

ice charges through my veins

to my heart

and back again

until all i feel is pain.

and as my eyes will dull to gray,

there is no more for you to say,

my skin becomes chalky and pale

each breath i take becomes raspy and stail
