Chapter 1 - A Lonely Soul
A wandering Soul
Out of Reach
As dark as Coal.
No one to play with
To Sing With
To Dance With
Lonely
Looking for a friend
A Light
Something to Mend
her life
Lonely
Sitting on the street side
Watching as the Cars go By
Wanting to cry
But holding in the tears
Doesn't want anyone to detect her fears
Lonely
No one Wants her
No one to bring her home
Nothing
Cold and Dark
She wanders to a Deserted Park
She watches silently
For another lost Soul
Someone to be her friend
Someone to hold
Maybe there is no where to go?
Lonely
But she carries on
With all the mixed emotions
Inside her Lonely Soul
Out of Reach
As dark as Coal.
No one to play with
To Sing With
To Dance With
Lonely
Looking for a friend
A Light
Something to Mend
her life
Lonely
Sitting on the street side
Watching as the Cars go By
Wanting to cry
But holding in the tears
Doesn't want anyone to detect her fears
Lonely
No one Wants her
No one to bring her home
Nothing
Cold and Dark
She wanders to a Deserted Park
She watches silently
For another lost Soul
Someone to be her friend
Someone to hold
Maybe there is no where to go?
Lonely
But she carries on
With all the mixed emotions
Inside her Lonely Soul

Did you guys eventually make up? I know what that is like EXACTLY; I sympathize. There's a particular group at my school, I hang with some of em' but not all. Well, my BFF got in a HUGE fight with two other girls, and then it was like EVERYONE turned against her. They made up, and they're great friends again. But, at first, it felt like I was the odd girl out. Maybe it was because everyone had made up so quick, and that I'd refused to pick sides/spread rumors about the other side when they were fighting. Oh well. We're all cool now.

Great poem. I love it, I'll have to e-mail it to my friend Diana, another poet.
