Chapter 2 - Sonnet #1
I remember fondly of the years passed
Of the relationship guaranteed to last
Once he said he loved me (once)
Granted our horns were green
But soon he took it back, being almost to the brink
And upon hearing his unsure words, my heart did sink.
Indeed I cried for days and weeks
Crying and crying myself to sleep
But soon we came to an agreement which resulted in us not parting
And here we are, ever so dotty.
Deep down my heart still aches
For the moments before the breaks
And hope for the future – we both agree
That love will come when love will be.
