Chapter 1 - Why Can't I Die?
Why can't I die?
Why do I spend every night awake,
watching the moon fly,
watching the moon die,
drifting into a lake,
of sorrow and despair,
Laying around,
and not giving a care.
Why do I walk in the shadows,
hiding my face behind a mask,
everything seems so wrong and mellow,
putting my life in a silver coated flask,
eating away at my happiness,
drinking in the pain,
but I feel no joy in this desert,
there's nothing to gain,
for searching this baron wasteland,
plans that always fail,
I sit back and watch the world crumble,
and say good bye to this distant land.
Why do I spend every night awake,
watching the moon fly,
watching the moon die,
drifting into a lake,
of sorrow and despair,
Laying around,
and not giving a care.
Why do I walk in the shadows,
hiding my face behind a mask,
everything seems so wrong and mellow,
putting my life in a silver coated flask,
eating away at my happiness,
drinking in the pain,
but I feel no joy in this desert,
there's nothing to gain,
for searching this baron wasteland,
plans that always fail,
I sit back and watch the world crumble,
and say good bye to this distant land.
