Chapter 1 - The hours
At dawn of day
Life shall not obey
My drowsy peril
Will not stray
And the time will not sway me
And the hours will not obey me
For your death there is truly sorrow
For your soul there is still twomarrow
So shall your spirit slay me
Remember,
The hours do not obey me
Verse Two
And by gods witness
The hours shall not pain me
For life is just twisted forms and maiming
As midnight draws near
I break down
My pain shall finally slay me
Then,
Only then,
Shall the hours obey me
