Chapter 1 - Untitled

The child begins to laugh and sing
inside a white-walled room.
It seems to sad to the fact
That they will soon meet their doom.

Children being tested
Adults not well-rested.
This is the House of the Insane.

Memories remembered by fear
The child laughs through her tears
She's so afraid.
This is the House of the Insane.

Just like Alice in Wonderland
The woman who recalled being fifteen feet high.
She's so ashamed.
She giggled dreamily.
This is the House of the Insane.


The place with adults
The place with children
Adults who are consumed
Children who have been abused.
This is the House of the Insane.

If you were wise
You would stop to think
Why so many are here.
Thinking they are teapots and things.
So many who've forgotten to breathe.

I`m not your little lab mouse.
So stop following me.
I`m here to see the little ones who look at me and flee.

The white-walled cell with a child inside
It`s not her fault.
It`s like the dentist,''Open Wide! ''
But to her it`s not. She seems to tiny for a girl in her teens
She slits her wrist with a pen.
And slides across the floor.
Making memories of stained blood
All against the door.
They ponder this and wince and they watch her smear the blood.
But sadly enough to her,she hadn`t enough to start a flood.

But when you see these menacing acts,
what does it make you think?
Of odds and ends and many things,try to find the facts.
Leave them be.
Your not here. Where so many inflict self pain.
This is the House of the Insane.
