Chapter 1 - Will You Take ME Home
Will you take me home tonight,
said those eyes,
those pleading eyes.
He could survive on only love,
if need be.
But if only that could be,
because in fact,
he does need food.
You can see his bones,
his ribboned bones,
making him quite
the walking and elongated stick.
His breath smells of trashcan,
because that is all
that he can seem to get.
All he needs is to see
a smile upon your face,
to follow you home.
He stalks you slowly
behind your back.
Blessed be the one
that loves me,
is all that he thinks.
If you only threw him
a few scraps of food,
and maybe an occaisonal door,
he would love you forever.
You glance at him,
his eyes unwittingly pittiful.
I would take him home,
you think.
But certqin circumstances
it does prevent.
So he moves on,
only wanting to be loved.
said those eyes,
those pleading eyes.
He could survive on only love,
if need be.
But if only that could be,
because in fact,
he does need food.
You can see his bones,
his ribboned bones,
making him quite
the walking and elongated stick.
His breath smells of trashcan,
because that is all
that he can seem to get.
All he needs is to see
a smile upon your face,
to follow you home.
He stalks you slowly
behind your back.
Blessed be the one
that loves me,
is all that he thinks.
If you only threw him
a few scraps of food,
and maybe an occaisonal door,
he would love you forever.
You glance at him,
his eyes unwittingly pittiful.
I would take him home,
you think.
But certqin circumstances
it does prevent.
So he moves on,
only wanting to be loved.
