Chapter 0 - Introduction to Yona Fate: Still Frames.
The little 2 year old sat in her swing beneath the sugar tree ,
like a pendalum the 'girl' went....... back and forth............back and forth........
There was a feeling in her that was so different , so exotic that it made her blue eyes darken as coal and her nerves tense in her small body and yet she didn't know what it was that made her feel this way.
She had sat on her swing in the courtyard tons of times beneath the old sugar tree and it wasn't that.
No , it was something else.
Every now and then someone from her family who was planting in the public garden next to the tree would return to her spot in the shade and give her one more push
.........back and forth.........back and forth............
The ' girls ' people were working very diligently and quickly so they could plant all the corn , seage , peas , king root , mantel petals , crooms , carrots and all the other fruits , vegetables.
Then a commotion started to arise and the sounds of screams mixed with chants of rage echoed from down the valley and to the workers working in the court garden.
The ' girl ' looked up to see a huge army of men on sprinting on foot towards the city carrying torches , knifes , chains and whatever else they could pick.
They were running down the long dirt path leading into the main part of the city.
The ' girl ' for her age wasn't suppose to know what danger was , but she was to smart not to notice the angry mob and sense the anger on their faces and hate in their eyes coming from up the wide dirt path.
She clenched her teeth tight and began to cry.
