FRIENDS

I don't know what's the truth
I can't tell what's a lie
You said you were my friend
Best friends for life

Then I did it
Hurt myself again
That's when you said
You were no longer my friend

You gave me the cold shoulder
You gave me an ice cold stair
I felt the chill
The chill in the air

I thought you were my friend
Best friends no matter what
I guess that doesn't
Include when I cut

So I guess this is goodbye
So long my dear friend
Maybe, just maybe
We can be friends again



A VOICE

A voice cries out amidst the darkness
A voice cries out in fear
A voice, much like yours or mine
A voice, that's all you hear

A boy stands in the city
A boy stands in the street
A boy stands waiting
A boy wanting to die in his sleep

A girl screams out of pain
A girl much like me
A girl screams as the baby is pulled
A girl finds joy in agony

A life is taken again
A life is taken from the world
A life, taken, out of despair
A life gone because of pills




I REMEMBER

I remember when the days were long
When the world was a playground
And my life a song
I fluttered through the years
With barley a care
Ignoring the future
And what would be there

School was intriuging
And filled with delights
I loved to laugh
With my friends all night
I learned to love
Everyone and everything
Waiting for the joy
Tommorow would bring

What wonderful days
Were my youth
But then I grew up
And realied the truth
Life is hard
But it goes on
My life is
No longer a song
