Chapter 1 - In Your Eyes
In your eyes I saw the future,
In your heart I saw the past,
In your smile I saw a façade,
And you words that just don’t last.
In your walk I saw a message,
Of “follow me and be free”,
In your soul I saw the anger,
Of a girl in pain, you see.
In your bites I noticed a passion,
In your touch I felt the cold,
Of a lonely, sad teenager,
Of whom I often hold.
In your lies I felt the pain,
Of a girl distressed; I had,
In you truth I felt the warmth,
That made me truly glad.
In your tears I sensed depression,
Of your senses soon to fail,
I felt the sadness hit,
As true as frozen hail.
In your embrace I felt belonging,
In your kiss I felt a tug,
On my broken, lonely heart;
It was made better with a hug.
On your skin I felt a mention,
Of a love so true and real,
On your tongue I tasted lust,
Of a want, a to be satiated feel.
In your heart I saw the past,
In your smile I saw a façade,
And you words that just don’t last.
In your walk I saw a message,
Of “follow me and be free”,
In your soul I saw the anger,
Of a girl in pain, you see.
In your bites I noticed a passion,
In your touch I felt the cold,
Of a lonely, sad teenager,
Of whom I often hold.
In your lies I felt the pain,
Of a girl distressed; I had,
In you truth I felt the warmth,
That made me truly glad.
In your tears I sensed depression,
Of your senses soon to fail,
I felt the sadness hit,
As true as frozen hail.
In your embrace I felt belonging,
In your kiss I felt a tug,
On my broken, lonely heart;
It was made better with a hug.
On your skin I felt a mention,
Of a love so true and real,
On your tongue I tasted lust,
Of a want, a to be satiated feel.
