Chapter 1 - first draft

“Gone?”



You would never leave me,

Oh so I believed.

But I finally see,

That you have left me.



You have departed,

And I wished for your return.

Realized it started,

The feeling of this burn.



You have not done a crime,

And you have not died.

Just gone for a time,

And gone from my own eyes.



To suffer this pain,

That you have burden me.

Knife that pierce your vein,

have finally pierced me.



Darkness begins to fall,

Within my cracked heart.

I felt I have lost all,

And not wanting this part.



But then I saw your hand,

Right there to help me.

And yes it was God's plan,

I finally see.



You are mine to hold,

And you are mine to see.

You have made heart gold,

You never leaved me.
