Chapter 11 - It Always seems like The End

Kiro carried Ash while Xiang carried Echo back to the hangar bay of the facility. If someone dared stop them, they had to mess with Ash. She was in so much pain that she didn’t care about using her anger. In fact, it made her feel a little better. The adrenaline kept her going, kept her angry and awake, which made her angrier. So when someone came up with a blaster, Ash sent them flying back the other way. They whole way back she was screaming, yelling for the pain to stop. It tore into her scalp, devouring her very insides. When they finally got a ship and lifted off, the pain started to subside some, but then the real pain from her real wounds started to kick in. The gas wore off when Kiro and Xiang were in the cockpit, and by the time Kiro came back to check on her, she was already passed out. She was just glad that in the end, her dreams didn’t come true.
