Heart of Thorns
Why is it so hard for me
To let a single person by
All my heart's foreboding defenses
And let them see the light?
Every single blackned thorn
Is wet with my own blood
From people who have cut, hurt me
And it creates pain more destructive than a flood
My own fortifacations are tearing me apart
All I need is someone to heal my broken heart
But everyone I know is to afraid to find the light
To afraid to find their way throuht my eternal night
