A thin, blonde boy was lying on the bed in a small room. A blue blanket covered him as he slept. The sun hadn’t risen yet, but it was morning nonetheless. Suddenly, a laptop positioned near the bed emitted a loud beeping noise. The boy groaned and pulled himself out of bed. He sleepily opened the laptop.
“Oh no, it’s Xana… So early…”
A white bubble of light rose from a nearby factory and enveloped the school. The boy found himself in an eerily familiar setting: lunchtime the previous day.
“Something doesn’t seem right… aside from the unexplained return to the past…” At that moment, he looked down at himself. He fainted.
