Caged
Caged
You sit
You watch
You wonder why
Why doesn’t it sing
But instead it lies in it’s cage
Shriekingin sorrow
And loneliness
It tries to get up
But falls weak
It closes it’s eyes
And starts to sing
A song of longing
Of loneliness and sorrow
You open the cage to let it have freedom
But it’s too late
The song is over
Caged
