Chapter 1 - Biting my Tongue
There I go.
Biting my tongue again.
The words I can express freely elsewhere
Choke me,
I stare you down and
Suppress how I feel,
My tears personifying the
Monstrosities within.
You poison
My mind with the harshness of opinions,
Criticising beliefs
And tearing me asunder,
Misplacing my tears for sadness.
Your feuds are idle and hollow,
No substance behind the words
That cut through me like a knife.
If only
I had not learned to appreciate the
Cruelty of words,
Admire the way they maim and mangle,
Lacking respect for our beliefs.
You notice the mars made
By my own hand;
Again I lie,
And you believe it.
Intelligence
Has not eluded you.
Callous actions commence:
He strikes at you again:
Without a second thought,
I plunge my weapon of words
Into your heart,
Retaliating in the only way I cant.
Biting my tongue again.
The words I can express freely elsewhere
Choke me,
I stare you down and
Suppress how I feel,
My tears personifying the
Monstrosities within.
You poison
My mind with the harshness of opinions,
Criticising beliefs
And tearing me asunder,
Misplacing my tears for sadness.

That cut through me like a knife.
