Story: When Mako was young his body was possessed by the demon spirit of a powerful tiger named Kazzu. While possessed his body was used to kill his family at the age of four. Refusing to leave, Kazzu remains in Mako's body to this day. Because of the torment as a child he found few real friends except for Naruto. With his friendship Mako was able to gain exceptance from his fellow chunin. Not quite as free spirited as Naruto he still tries to see the good in things and stands up in what he believes in. When he is in the heat of battle on the other hand he is all serious and sometimes loses control. His secret crush on Hinata sometimes makes it difficult to make rational choices when she is around, especially since he already knows about her crush on his best friend.
