Preview Week! - The Nightmare Zone

Maybe by now E3 is done. I dunno. I'll keep checking around for anything I missed. Anyway, let's see what I can find to chat about...

This year, like every year for quite some time, I'll be writing a GeneX Halloween Special. Well, my friends, sad to say, this is the end of that. The annual Nightmare Zone special has become a bit too much of a chore, so this year, I've decided to conclude the overarcing story (which has gone somewhat neglected recently) and declare this tradition ended. I may write further specials in the future, but no longer on an annual basis. It'll be only if I have time.

So, why don't we recap the story thus far?
GeneX: The Nightmare Zone - In the first tale of terror, the primary cast of characters are lured to Night Woods, the first area cloaked in the shroud of evil known as the Nightmare Zone. It was all part of the scheme of a vengeful, murderous ghost; A scheme that ultimately succeeded, ending in the deaths of nearly everyone...

GeneX: Spell of the Shadows - The Nightmare Zone has begun to expand, and it's up to the remaining heroes to try to stop its spread. The longest story in the series, it has it all. Ghosts, vampires, zombies, and the evil witch, Tabitha the cat, who sought to cast the Spell of the Shadows in order to summon the mysterious Lord of Nightmares. She was stopped, and Sonic, Tails and Copter were ressurrected along the way, though Sonic was cursed...

GeneX: The Black Curse - Stricken by Tabitha's curse, Sonic turns into a vicious Werehog when exposed to the full moon. Despite this, our heroes must brave the Nightmare Zone as it covers the Mystic Ruins in an effort to stop Tabitha's new scheme. A fiendish scarecrow Lost One called Loscream joins the cast, and Sonic's curse is broken as he defeats Tabitha's plan once again...

GeneX: The Heartless Machine - Crossing over with the now-cancelled Chaos Hearts universe, Lucky the cat lends his keyblade to the fight at Night Woods at the same time as Sonic's battles in the Mystic Ruins during the Black Curse. His efforts stop a heartless invasion and enable Shadow Arcangel to take to the sky once again...

Now, the final chapter in this saga is ready to be told. This year, the surviving heroes will unite to take on Tabitha, Eggman, the Lost Ones, and the Lord of Nightmares himself in the dramatic conclusion. Study up on your Dos and Don'ts of Scary Scenarios, and prepare for the final excursion into the Nightmare Zone, this October! (well, wasn't that a long winded way of saying nothing! sorry, it's really not started yet...)
