World of GeneX - Finale

Blog Entry: World of GeneX - Finale
So, finally, I'm wrapping up this journal series. About time, I guess. Just in case anyone was actually reading any of these, I'll talk about a few more topics before closing it out for the last time.
Firstly, the Chaos Relics. These superpowered objects became very important during GeneX - Knuckles the Echidna. There are about 13 of them, and not all have debuted in the stories yet. They are controlled, much like the emeralds, by a great gem; the Chaos Crystal. Since the tailbands alone can invoke a super form, they appear to be stronger than the Chaos Emeralds, but whether that is true is unclear. Each of the relics have different powers, but I won't be talking about them here. You'll just have to discover that out by reading the stories.
Another thing I never covered in this series of articles was GUN. OK, Guard got an article, but there's a whole GUN world beyond that gargoyle. Most importantly is Richard Gunner, Guard's boss and a guy frequently mentioned in past World of GeneX articles. He's an older fellow, about Eggman's age, who starts as a Sergeant before being promoted. He has an apparently racist hatred of "Mobians" (as the fanbase calls them), which he refers to constantly as furry freaks. His two goals in life are to exterminate all Mobians, and to conquer the world. He's surprisingly good at keeping these agendas hidden from his superiors.
I never did articles on the hooded fellows, either. The Doomsayer, the Deathbringer, the Darkseeker, and Dimentime. None of them initially seem connected (except by their wardrobe choices), but they all have one thing in common, and that is the Doomsayer. As readers will soon know, each of these hooded fellows share a connection to that first, most mysterious one. Of course, longtime readers know that the least mysterious of these is Dimentime. Appearing in Soleanna Struggle and GeneX Generations; Dimentime was Copter from the Sonic 06 timeline. The Time Stones caused him to split into both timelines, creating Dimentime.
I also didn't really cover the Lost Ones. They are a race of paranormal beings composed of slime, that multiply by stealing the souls of their victims and turning them into Lost Ones, too. Lospecter is their de facto leader, assisted by the shapeshifting Loskeletor and the demonic Losipher. Losipher is composed of 1000 devoured souls, and kills Gemini's best friend in the future. Lospecter weilds the Chaos Cards, a tarot deck with incredible and varied powers, which he mainly uses for summoning. The Halloween specials also featured Loscream, an undead pumpkin.
There are 15 experiments, currently, and I covered only a few of them. Well, I covered 1-8, actually. Why don't I do a quick rundown of 9-15 to close out this journal series? Sounds like a good way to go.
Experiment 9 - Spiny the Porcupine - Resembles Sonic & hates it. Has complete mastery of Chaos Spear, even beyond Shadow's skill with the move.
Experiment 10 - Zeke the Dragon - Narcissistic and scheming. Zeke flies and breathes fire as you'd expect, but his breathing is a bit impaired as a result of a defect.
Experiment 11 - Whisk the Divine - An angelic feline with the power to teleport and unfortunate memory issues. She also has combat magic- in her wings.
Experiment 12 - Ridley the Coati - Holds self-preservation as his highest priority. His Chaos Splash and Chaos Splatter techniques charge water with Chaos energy to cause damage.
Experiment 13 - Lucky the Cat - Has no power for now, but posesses a heart of gold that will lead a keyblade to choose him one day.
Experiment 14 - Carrie the ?????? - A mystery creature whose true nature is only just being revealed in the story. I may even have just posted the chapter. Find out about her there rather than here.
Experiment 15 - Talon the Griffin - His true nature is also just being revealed... but it was always known that he is a griffin.
More stories are to come in the future, but this is it for World of GeneX. I hope new readers will find these starter-bios helpful as a quick-catch-up rather than feeling a need to read every chapter of the story. Now, if you WANT to read every chapter, that's fine. Good luck to you.
Either way, thank you for your interest in my stories. I hope to keep entertaining people for years to come, yet!
