Yeah, thanks for the encouragement. I actually have been drawing since like, a day after my thirteenth birthday...which hasnt been that long, my birthday is April 9th, but I have been getting better! Hehe... yeah, I like Rurouni Kenshin way back when. :) a true classic. I also like Naruto, Midori no Hibi (the cut, non-H version. O_o), Ranma 1/2, Ouran High School Host club, and lots of others. There are also some series I never got to finish like Fruits Basket, Beck, Nodame Cantabile... ^^; I don't have much time for anime lately...

MGS inspired you to start drawing lol, cool!

Well, the standard story, actually.
My character would be named Akane which is Japanese for deep red. She is a lost princess who becomes orphaned after she is stolen.
She has long red hair which has never been cut, but only trimmed. Mostly it is braided, but if it were not, as it will be when she gets stolen, it would look like your drawing's hair, blowing in the wind. Her eyes are green. I have imagined Akane's facial and bone structure as you have drawn your 'A Princess'. And she will be wearing a dress similar to the one you drew when she's kidnapped. I wanted to use a dress similiar to the dress you drew, and definately the blood stone pendant. I don't know if I need the picture as I will never be able to draw, but I was thinking of using it in a Role Play forum I created, to show the character I wanted to play as.
Akane's society allowed her to learn the fighting techniques. She learns all that they have taught her-and she was taught things that older men learns at age ten. On her eleventh birthday, she gets to learn to ride horses-in saddle and bareback.
I should mention here that her world is different than ours. The days are half again as long as the days here. And there are 10 days in a week. Three suns and a moon circle the planet.
One day, at age twelve, when she is somewhat mastered in riding horses, her pony spooked and runs rampant. A group of slavers under pay of the King's enemies steal her away from the castlegrounds.
When next we see her, she has an evil master who beats her. Before she can do anything but cry, something flies and hits him in the back of the head, at the base of the skull. She runs away and lives in the forest, for she was taught that. But soon comes across an elf-the tall kind-who is in trouble. I haven't thought of what that trouble would be yet, but she helps him and he lets her live in his place. But trouble soon comes to the elven lands.
Akane knows that it was because of her, but she doesn't know why. The rest of the story, she is running from things that chase her. She ends up at the palace. By this time she knows that she is something that evil wants to get rid of. Now, there is the supernatural to worry about.
At the palace, she befriends many people. And attention comes to the King and Queen about her. They request an audience with her. They do not yet find out that she is their lost daughter. But they give her a place to train which she convinces them to.
Not long after, there is a war. And Akane plays a major role in it.
At the end of the story, they are reunited.
I have not figured out as of yet some of the details, but I'm working on it.
My website is http://kurisuchina.proboards98.com. This is where I plan to role play that story. For she has a person that follows her and sometimes talks to her. Certainly she has the elves that will be role played by someone. And the talks between the enemies and the good people.
I might write the story in the section of my website that allows stories and poems to be written, but I'd rather role play it.

I'm thinking of taking clay sculpting more seriously (by using various colors XD). Since you're working with a similar medium, I would like to ask you a few questions. I hope you don't mind ^^;

I'm glad to hear that, I'd love to see your clay works.

1. What colors do you mix to make a flesh-like color? Do you mix red, white and pink? Or orange, yellow and white? Brown and yellow?

I don't mix any colors because the clay I use doesn't have to be painted. I buy several blocks of clay, each one of a different color and there is one which is flesh-color. But if you can't find that clay itself, I think the best colors to mix are yellow + pink. (add white if you want a lighter shade, but if you want a darker shade, don't add black, use brown instead)

2. How do you make sculptures look smooth? Mine usually end up messy, having fingerprints. >.<

I can't avoid fingerprints, they're so annoying. But I there are some things you can do. First of all, keep your nails as short as possible and second, simply try to erase the fingerprints with some tool, as a plastic knife or something like that. You can also use your own finger, but that is difficult.

3. You mentioned earlier that your models don't harden. How do you preserve them for diplay? If you can't make them harden, do you simply take it apart afterwards and sculpt a new one?

Yes, I recycle them. I destroy them in order to make new ones. I'm going to search another kind of clay instead of plastilina in order to preserve them.

4. Any other tips?

To do more details, especially the small ones, use a pin to pierce the surface.

Braids are really easy to do, just make three locks ( they should look as spaguettis) and simply braid them as if they were real hair.
beware proportions! if you make a head too big, it will be too heavy and your sculture might loose its head earlier than you thought.
For more tips, you can ask Axelgnt. He is another member of Fanart Central and he is very skillful with clay.

Well, it was the last episode ever made! I'm not sure if they're gonna make new episodes in the future, but I do know that this episode never aired on U.S. tv, but it was aired on Canada and U.K. The full episode used to be on http://www.youtube.com/ last week, but now it isn't. It was posted by Heatfreak, but the Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. demanded him to remove that episode...or else...he would lose his account. Good thing I watched the three videos, before they were erased. Now all that is left is these two music videos from the same episode. "Freedom Beef" and "Yin & Yang". If you go to YouTube, and search for one of these two, you'll find them in the same page .

A lot of people have asked me how I get colored pencil to look so smooth. All I really do is color really light, then throw some darker stuff on top, and do a little erasing to smooth stuff out. And I just use heavy duty drawing paper from an Impressions Sketch Diary.

Jenny was so happy about the house they had found. For once in her life 'twas on the right side of town. She unpacked her things with such great ease. As she watched her new curtains blow in the breeze. How wonderful it was to have her own room. School would be starting; she'd have friends over soon. There'd be sleep-overs, and parties; she was so happy It's just the way she wanted her life to be. On the first day of school, everything went great. She made new friends and even got a date! She thought, "I want to be popular and I'm going to be, Because I just got a date with the star of the team!" To be known in this school you had to have clout, And dating this guy would sure help her out. There was only one problem stopping her fate. Her parents had said she was too young to date. "Well I just won't tell them the entire truth. They won't know the difference; what's there to lose?" Jenny asked to stay with her friends that night. Her parents frowned but said, "All right." Excited, she got ready for the big event But as she rushed around like she had no sense, She began to feel guilty about all the lies, But what's a pizza, a party, and a moonlight ride? Well the pizza was good, and the party was great, But the moonlight ride would have to wait. For Dan was half drunk by this time. But he kissed her and said that he was just fine. Then the room filled with smoked and Dan took a puff. Jenny couldn't believe he was smoking that stuff. Now Dan was ready to ride to the point But only after he'd smoked another joint. They jumped in the car for the moonlight ride, Not thinking that he was too drunk to drive. They finally made it to the point at last, And Dan started trying to make a pass. A pass is not what Jenny wanted at all (and by a pass, I don't mean playing football.) "Perhaps my parents were right....maybe I am too young. Boy, how could I ever, ever be so dumb." With all of her might, she pushed Dan away: "Please take me home, I don't want to stay." Dan cranked up the engine and floored the gas. In a matter of seconds they were going too fast. As Dan drove on in a fit of wild anger, Jenny knew that her life was in danger. She begged and pleaded for him to slow down, But he just got faster as they neared the town. "Just let me get home! I'll confess that I lied. I really went out for a moonlight ride." Then all of a sudden, she saw a big flash. "Oh God, Please help us! We're going to crash!" She doesn't remember the force of impact. Just that everything all of a sudden went black. She felt someone remove her from the twisted rubble, And heard, "call an ambulance! These kids are in trouble! Voices she heard...a few words at best. But she knew there were two cars involved in the wreck. Then wondered to herself if Dan was all right, And if the people in the other car was alive. She awoke in the hospital to faces so sad. "You've been in a wreck and it looks pretty bad." These voices echoed inside her head, As they gently told her that Dan was dead. They said "Jenny, we've done all we can do. But it looks as if we'll lose you too." "But the people in the other car!?" Jenny cried. "We're sorry, Jenny, they also died." Jenny prayed, "God, forgive me for what I've done I only wanted to have just one night of fun." "Tell those people's family, I've made their lives dim, And wish I could return their families to them." "Tell Mom and Dad I'm sorry I lied, And that it's my fault so many have died. Oh, nurse, won't you please tell them that for me?" The nurse just stood there-she never agreed. But took Jenny's hand with tears in her eyes. And a few moments later Jenny died. A man asked the nurse, "Why didn't you do your best To bid that girl her one last request?" She looked at the man with eyes so sad. "Because the people in the other car were her mom and dad." This story is sad and unpleasant but true, So young people take heed, it could have been you.

Don't worry. you're not missing all too much. You'll get plenty of oppurtunity to be a light for others, like when you get a job (unless of course you already have one.... ^ ^ then that's ONE way). It's good that you're going to a Christian school. I would LOVE to have a Bible class in the middle of school and learn stuff Biblically! it'd be awesome! You don't have to feel left out at all. There's more than one way to do things.
Expression of emotions! Yeah I like those kind of songs too! I mostly listen to Christian music of most genres (except country Christian cuz I really don't like countty, but you don't hear a lot of JUST country Christian singer. Like Third Day is about the closest to country I've heard so far, but they're more like light rock.) I listen to SOME secular music, so long as the singers aren't convicted criminals (hey you never know) or do drugs or sleep with women (or men - OR BOTH! O.O *barf*) all the time. Plus the music can't have a bad theme or profanity. Some secular songs can be pretty funny or have good morals to them, but I mostly stick to contemperary Christian music.
I like some hymns. I haven't heard any straight hymns in a few years, but I have heard a lot of hymns been put to more contemperary music (same words, just different music - ex. Todd Agnew's song, "Grace Like Rain" or as most might know it "Amazing Grace"). I guess you could call it a spiff hymn (a spiff on a hymn) ^ ^
You're in a chior!? That's kool! I took a chorus class in elementary school for a few years cuz I LOVE to sing, but I gave it up after a while cuz I like better to sings solo.... I guess that sounds a little selfish, but it's true... ^ ^"

Yes, I go to a public high school. I don't have anything against private school - my best friend goes to one - but they're not exactly cheap and so long as one has a church to go to regularly a private school isn't neccissary. It's nice! Don't get me wrong. I'd love to have a Bible class in the middle of the day and be able to pray before lunch and not have a hundred eyes on my like, "What are you doing?" but that's actually one good thing about going to a public high school - you have more of an oppurtunity to witness to others. (I've been kinda slaggard with that lately but i try.) Plus, it kind of gets you ready for the real world once you go off to college or get a job, you're not always going to be surrounded by Christians who can support you, so it has it's ups and downs (like a research paper due next Monday. ^ ^)
Once again, simple question, LONG answer. ^ ^" How about you? Public?
I always find that I like to ask this questions first with new friends: What kind of music do you listen to?

It'd be darker if I reposted it cuz I saved it under the wrong kind of file, but it's true - I do color very lightly. I get paranoid that I'll ruin a picture. Anyway, it's very encouraging to get a comment like that coming from a person who colors as well as you do. ^ ^
I wouldn't worry about you name. You could always tell people you're ADDICTed to Jesus! ^ ^ If that's the case anyway. I very much liked the way you asked what type of faith I am. Born-again Christian was right on. If you wanted to get real technical you could say Baptist, but more unconventional; that is, we don't do the traditional hymns and don't have deacons, etc. (I go to what we call a community church). ^ ^ But, you know, whoever has accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior, believes that He died for our sins, rose again, and has asked His fogiveness for their sins is a Christian. (It's not just one denomination like most people think...)
Sorry for rambling. You asked me a simple question and I made a paragraph out of it. ^ ^" I love to write - hope to be a writer one day - as you can plainly see.
So how about you? Where's your spiritual standing?

THX 4 the user coment, AND the pic coment! i just had to say 1 thing be4 i go; i really didn't use CG for the Cosmo pic ^.^;;; I so wish i had my brothers CG program, he could to that kind of stuff! The program i used was photoshop 7 XD the latest version of Photoshop...i think. Theyre makin so many i can't keep up with them anymore! Anyways i didnt want to embarass u or anything its just i dont want ppl crawling up my back for pictures of CG from a program i dont have! It's simple to use Photoshop and to get that effect all you have to do is go to Filter and then Render. I'm givin the advice to all who want to use it beacuse im nice like that! :D Now to embarass me; I never really wanted to add you to my favs ^.^;;;; but i've been looking at more of your pics and i thought theyre amazing so i'll keep ya on there :D Alrighty then, so i'm off now! Baaai~!

The artist I suggested does mostly Yuyu hakusho pics, but I know she does like Rurouni Kenshin (I also know she has about 8 requests on her hands now, I'd hate that @.@) (Ranma 1/2 is a very good series, it's so funny)

I didn't really mind too much. I just thought he was a cool character. I know I was annoyed by all the Matrix-esque stuff in MGS but I really liked the scene with him and Snake in it..

and I liked how cool he was in the beginning of 2 also.

but then again.. that's just him.. it's not like Snake was flipping his guns around and doing crazy stunt cartoon stuff ALSO so I didn't really mind it I guess (like it was with the Ninja and that STUPID scene with the helicopter where Snake jumped off the missile.. sorry if you're a fan of that but it REALLY annoyed me.)
