Hey.... Well, after looking through all my old sketches, I decided to start fresh with some hopefully improved work. I'm working on a big collab with my friend right now and feedback is greatly appreciated, as it advice and critisism..
Now, on to tha personal stuffs. I'm a 16 year old junior.. I have a short attetion span and stress problems. I procrastinate. A lot.
I've actually been meaning to do this for 2 months now.
My favorite manga is Saiyuki, my favorite american comic is Shutterbox, my favorite animes are Excel Saga, Cowboy BeBop, and Hellsing.
I do requests.. I LOVE REQUESTS!
Especially OC's.
But... I won't draw Hentai or Yaoi..or.. yuri.
But I'll draw all the voilence you could ever want.
That's all for now.

Hello hello! Thanks for the comments and fav :)
For Moonlit Pagoda, its a pure digital piece (unlike Boys of Phantasia, which is scanned lineart and coloured), using only Photoshop and Wacom Garphire Tablet. Techniques, erm, I used a lot of layers (ended up with nearly 30 layers by the end, mostly combinations of Overlay and Multiply), and plenty of shadow and hightlights (folds of clothing, defined shade of body parts, and details on the hair, if the tablet is your friend), so profiles look defined without the help of lineart.
ummm... I guess that's about all the tips I can give you, since I'm not a big custome effect person. All I used for strokes are the Brush and Smudge tool :p
ehehe I'm so useless... Anyhow, those are some general tips, but if you'd like me to exlain some of the specific techs used in my works, please feel welcomed to ask me :)
Ciao!

Okay, well, if it makes you feel any better, I really did like your picture, I just wanted to point that little thing out. Sorry, when I comment on pictures, I usually only give advice, but the only reason I do comment is because I really like the picture. It's not really like me to give a standing ovation over anything really, so if I do bother to comment, then I think that your picture is a hell of a lot better than most of the other stuff on this site.

Ha, sorry, didn't mean to "criticize" your work from last year. I was just trying to give you a pointer for future reference. And to answer your quesion, I'm actually not quite sure where exactly it says that James has hazel eyes in the books (I know it does somewhere...but I'm too lazy to look it up. Probably somewhere in the fifth book when Harry is in Snape's pensieve, but I don't know). I do know however, that it is on the Harry Potter Lexicon. The website is http://www.hp-lexicon.org/wizards/james.html if you don't believe me. It's a very information valuable site, and I can guarantee you that all of the information on there is 100% correct. And as for bashing HP yaoi, I must say, I don't really mind it that much ;) So no hard feelings?

HEY!!^_^ Thankx SOOO much for your reviews of my work!! I really appreciate the fact that you noticed some of the more subtle details. (a lot of people don't pay attention to things like shading;) Anyway, thank you so much again and I hope to here from you in the future too. Oh, and 'Spike Concept' was done in 11 shades of Prismacolor markers. Glad you like!^_^
Oh, and I LOVE your work too...especially the one of Legolas. THE SHADING AND DETAIL ROCKS!!! (love his expression too;)
Thankx again,
~Strider
