Um, as you can see I really like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. A LOT. And Ness is my main fighter.

Because of Brawl, I've gotten into Earthbound. That's the game Ness is from. It's for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), which is this retro system from the 90s. Both SNESs and Earthbound itself are very rare to get a hold of nowadays. Which means alot of people haven't even heard of Earthbound. The fanbase would be dead if it wasn't for Ness's inclusion in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Earthbound DOES have a sequel, but only in Japan. And Nintendo of America has confirmed that they have no plans to translate it.

EB's only hope is to get released on the Wii's Virtual Console. But for some reason, Nintendo won't release it. It might be because they think that EB isn't popular in the states, because of low sales in the 90s, but it DOES have a fanbase. A VERY LARGE fanbase. And the proof is in a Nintendo Power poll which asked which games the readers want on the Virtual Console. EB was NUMBER ONE on the list, even before Super Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger. Plus, EB was rated for the Wii by ESRB. Nintendo of America has NO REASON not to release it, yey they STILL REFUSE!!!! Why!? Because all thay want is MONEY!!!

So EB fans have started to act. BIG TIME. In a website called starmen.net. There, everyone is doing all they can to save EB. The fans have also started a big traslation project on EB's sequel, MOTHER 3.

WE'RE NOT GONNA GIVE UP YET!!!! THIS IS FOR NESS!!!!
