This episode seems to be focused on Usagi and Tuxedo Mask. There was no mention of Sailor Jupiter in the preview, but the episode did look pretty. Let's see how it goes.

Luna knows of Mamoru's identity and he knows who Usagi is, plus Luna shows surprise upon realizing that Usagi doesn't know who Tuxedo Mask is. This is all a nice touch, though I have to say I did enjoy the original episode where they first discovered each other at Tokyo tower. I do hope we at least get to see a Tuxedo transformation, unless he's supposed to be like a normal (though very agile) guy. It could work either way.

I liked the details of the girls' interactions and Usagi falling asleep reading manga. Rei's differences once again shine and make me miss the stronger original Rei, not that I dislike the new quiet Rei, I just like the old one better.

This episode was similar to the original, save for a few details. In the original, Sailor Moon had combined her tiara frisbee with Mars' fire a few times, but now the old tiara burned and Moon got a new power just in time. She reflected the moonlight to free the possessed princess D. (A reference to Diana maybe?)

I like that Nephrite took the villain spotlight this time because it makes sense that the four generals, or kings, work simultaneously even if not together. I liked Usagi's original dress better with the softer colors, but all the main girls' dresses were still pretty.

Another difference that stood out was that Usagi was awake when she and Mamoru kissed in the original. Somehow in the remake she slept through the kiss and Luna's shouting. I can see that happening, she can be a heavy sleeper, plus she might have been in a sort of flashback trance about her past life, it's just a small difference I felt like pointing out. I was especially amused by Luna's protectiveness of Usagi.

The preview showed Sailor Jupiter, so the next episode should be interesting. At this point in the original the rainbow crystal plot was already going strong, so I wonder if it will be used at all, though there is still plenty of time.
