Yesterday I got stuck playing taxi at the airport. I knew the way to customs, but have never driven in the runway and didn't know what lane to take. I told the fuel driver to wait up so I could follow him. Of course that was after I spent several minutes figuring out the van. I like small cars with smooth controls, not old big vans with clunky controls. How do bus drivers put up with this?

I managed to survive, though the van had its set of tricks that I didn't know and I had to ask the truck driver to start it for me on the way back because it wouldn't start. Apparently I was too rough with the settings level and pushed some inner workings out of place, which thankfully he was able to click back into place, having experience with all the annoying quirks of the big old van.

At least dinner was delivered while I was out of the office and I went back to eat my steak, Pepsi and chocolate cake. That wasn't the end of it though, the last drop came when I went home. A bee sat on the windshield practically the whole way, as if it knew how much I hate getting stuck with taxi duty, as only so many people have the permit to "escort" passengers at the runway in a vehicle and the one who usually does went home sick.

I was tempted to shoo the bee away with the wipers, but it would be gross if it got squished so I ignored it. It buzzed off into the neighbor's bushes as I pulled into the garage at home.  Stupid bee, I'm not a taxi, and definitely not a free taxi!
