Vocaloid Project Diva

Blog Entry: Vocaloid Project Diva
Because General Penguin asked the other day, here are my favorite songs from Vocaloid Project Diva F. This is based on the song regardless of which Vocaloid sings it, so it's not all Kaito songs. I like all the songs except the Wall-E rip off, it's just too natury even if the chibis are cute.
Top 5 not including character favorites: (all are Miku, PD2 was also mostly Miku but had a lot more variety, since it had more songs.)
Secret Police
Unhappy Refrain
Hm? Ah, Yes.
Cat Food
Weekender Girl
Favorite for each Vocaloid:
Miku: Black Rock Shooter
Kaito: Acute (with Miku and Luka)
Rin: Tengaku
Len: Kagamine HachiHachi Flower Fight (with Rin)
Luka: World's End Dance Hall (with Miku)
Meiko: Nostalgic
Most amusing for various reasons:
Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!
The MMORPG Addict's Anthem
Sadistic Music Factory
I suggest playing PD1 first. The songs are awesome in both, but you'll notice the difference in graphics.
Now for Vocaloid Project Diva F2. PD1 had more songs with references and only one song I didn't really like. There were a few that I wasn't into in PD2, but I still like the mayority and PD2 had more songs, more costumes and better graphics. PD1 is still awesome and has songs I love and go back to, but I have to say they did make a notable improvement in the overall game in PD2.
I didn't like Miku's Halloween song, I prefer Kaito's Halloween song from PD1. Another Christmas song would have been nice, but there's only one on PD1. PD2 has a few slow songs, while PD1 is all energetic, I'm not into slow songs, but there are only a few so I still like most of them.
I'm not counting DLC songs for this list, even if I like them. These lists are based on the sound, not comparing how elaborate or simple the music video is. They all look good but some have detailed scenes while others are just dancing on a stage.
Here are the top 5, again not including the character favorites:
Thousand Year Solo (Kaito)
Kagerou Daze (Miku)
The World is Mine (Miku)
Knife (Miku, Rin and Len)
Two Breaths Walking (Miku)
Favorite for each Vocaloid:
Miku: Romeo and Cinderella
Kaito: Cantarella
Rin: Roshin Yukai
Len: Erase or Zero (with Kaito)
Luka: Akatsuki Arrival (with Miku)
Meiko: Wintry Winds (with Kaito)
Honorable mentions:
Envy Cat Walk (because kitties)
I'll Miku-Miku You (because XD)
Blackjack (you might like a casino song?)
Most "disturbing" songs:
Love-Hate (WTF twincest?!)
Pinky Swear (the talk about offering the body is not about fan service, it's about a gift wrapped dismembered finger)
Top 3 DLC songs:
Pale Rosary (Kaito)
Electric Angel (Miku)
To the End of Infinity (Rin and Len)
Top 3 favoties overall:
Cantarella (Kaito)
Romeo and Cinderella (Miku)
Secret Police (Miku)
3 Most amusing music videos from the songs on the lists:
All of them if I switch in Kaito, especially Hm? Ah, Yes.
Kagerou Daze: it can just be dancing on a stage, but if you win the first technical zone you get the other version which Final Destination + Edge of Tomorrow with cats and icecream. XD
Knife: swordfights
