Okay, I decided to do something interesting tonight. I put a Magical DoReMi disc (it came with a Doremi/Dorie doll I got once) in my PS2, searched the fourth episode of Ojamajo Doremi on the Youtube app on my iPod Touch, and guess what I did-- LISTENED TO THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE WHILE LISTENING TO THE ENGLISH DUB. And here's some stuff I noticed-
Maho Dou is called "The DoReMi Magic Shop" in the English dub.
A part when Doremi was bringing Hazuki and Aiko to the Maho Dou was a little longer than original.
The scene when Aiko uses magic to make a bunch of octopi appear is missing.
A few scenes were shortened.
Every single name in this episode was changed.
In my opinion, the original Japanese wins, because 4Kids dubs (except Sonic X) are usually dumb...
Well, time to wait for 184 and a half more episodes of Ojamajo Doremi to watch... (yes, the first eleven and a half eps of season one are on Youtube in JAPANESE. Watch them while they last 8D )
