I like to study insects (anthrpods), spiders (arenae), tarantulas (arachnids), flies (dipteria), harvestman (oppiloinde), whip tail scorpions (pseudo-scorpiones), chloropods (centipedes), diplopods (millipededs), and other insects. My favorite insect is the female Mexican red Knee tarantula because they live up to 25+ years, and they use their mouse like fur to hunt their prey down, by using the vibrations from their nearby prey. Also to tell the difference betweeen a male and female tarantula, is that a female tarantula will have a bigger abdomen (opthiprosoma), then the males.
