I came here several months back to keep up with friends who had left my favorite art site, Storm-artists.net.
Storm was just suddenly shut down by it's original creator with no warning, at a time when I was just wanting to be actively involved there.
SO I am trying to transfer my community building aspirations from storm to the other sites I have access to. for now, that means this one, DA, and FA. but both DA and FA have some real disadvantages, so I am hoping I can let this site take over much of what storm was for me. I prefer smaller, more personal sites.
WHO's With me? any other Storm refugees here wanting to replace something of the wonderful but small community we had there?
This place seems also to be in decline...who thinks this is worth saving, just as storm was worth saving, even though we were not given the chance at storm, who wants to take the chance here while we still can? Make this site live and grow and thrive?
who's been here long enough to really know their way around and willing to mentor me in becoming a full member so I can began to fully participate here?
