writing is pretty cool, i write songs most of the time. i too, hope to be a singer, but if not that, i hope to be a songwriter. Singing is just what I like to do, I can do without all that cash. I mean,sure,I`ll use some of it for myself and my family, but I just want to help people. Then... well,let`s see.... Well, I write, but recently I've become horrible at it. The last time I won an award in school for best in composition writing was when I was in 6th grade... around two years ago.
I'm more of an essay writer, but I've tried story-writing... I'm lame at it, beacuse I have absolutely no idea of what to write.
Poetry, well, unless it's some parody of two lines or so, I can't write them. I guess lately, I can only write haikus...T_T
My main problems with writing is:

1. I don't really have a good flow of it. Or maybe, a bit too systematic. Sometimes I tend to write nonsense...

2. A not-so-wide volcabulary

3. You have to give me a few hours, or days, to write. What my school does for best in composition is, they give you a topic (ie "Blessed to Bless Others") and an hour to do your 400-word essay. It may depend on yourlevel though. All I can write in such a time is gibberish.

Agh, I'm straying form the topic. I'll go now... V_V

Well, I study in a Christian school... but I do want to know what it's like to study in a/an (American) public school. Yeah, I want see if others could really see the Light in me, you know? It would be a really great oppurtunity to be witnessing in a secular school.

Music? Well, I like just about any kind of music, especially when they express my emotions. I like almost any genre: Rock, jazz, uh... sometimes I like punk too!
In Christian music, I like Hillsong, and a lot of others. Hymns are cool too, especially when sung in a choir. I'm in one...

Angst is basically when a person's suffering... in some way or another I guess... Like, if a char's best friend dies, there is then angst. If your pet is run over by a car, you angst. ...All that sappy sad stuff. ...It's fun. ^^;
Well, not in a sadistical manner, but, y'know, just about any story has a mysterious character who suffers through some deep dark past and whatnot... Angst.

You see, I find most Christian artists to have music that all seems to sound quite alike. I do however really like the few that have really original sound to their music. (Like Mark Harris)

Anyhow, when it comes to music...I am somewhat flexible. As long as it doesn't involve screaming, bad lyrics...extremely loud...or obnoxious sounds...

I am probably okay with it. I most certainly don't listen to much of what these young kids listen to now'adays.

Smooth Jazz

(I'll listen to soft techno on occasion)

And ANYTHING with a remixed gregorian chant or just a really deep and dramatic latin lyrics! (An assortment of artists which do this are ERA, Lesiem and Magna Canta)

So...I have a somewhat unique taste. I prefer dramatic music most of the time, more so than loud music.

Hmm...I am glad you read more of my written work. It makes me happy~ Anyhow...as for favorite books...well I have different favorites for different catagories.

My top favorite is the Bible, but my favorite Author (meaning I love absolutely EVERY ONE of his books) is C.S. Lewis.

I really enjoy fantasy, as long as it isn't too steeped in things that make me feel uncomfortable. I love reading a good inspiration book every now and then! However, if there is something on my wishlist...I want 1) To read George MacDonald, and 2) To get the full unabridged Chronicles of Narnia...along with all of the other C.S. Lewis classics I haven't read.

LOL Okay sorry. When i wrote that chapter i was really frustrated that the story seemed to be moving to slow. It is very poorly written and i will change it a bit later but i wrote another chapter so just wait a little while for me to fix it k? I'm sorry. When you read the next chapter pretend the last one actually made sense cuz it will soon beacause i do want you to read the next chapter, its in Ben's point of view but i wont give any hints to what happens. Lets just say i had to find a way to wrap things up between Tear and Ben and i wanted to write that for a while and thats why i went so fast on the last chapter. In reality the chapter before it shouldve been 3 chapters with more detail and not all happening in a period of about 4 hours. So yeah... Sorry and thank you for your support! Hope you like the next chapter Sarah!

3.you put, "I got the following so far..." Well that's similar to what I told you the very first time I commented on your story: addressing the reader is a big-time no-no." well truth is... i just meant that to be a note to herself in what she had gotten so far. Beacause she was stateing how incredible they were so far. In a way, when she thinks it is like talking to another person. Like in the 8th chapter when she battles between herself and...herself. She thinks in conversation as well as personally. Beacause well, i do that myself. I kinda talk to myself when i am contemplating things. Like i would think "do you think she'll get mad if i dont do this?" its just my way.

4th. I am sorry about changing tenses alot. Its just some parts in the story she is telling about what is happining and then it goes back to what was HAPPENING. So...yeah. Thats the reason for that and i will try to make it more clear later.

5th: adressing the reader has always drawn people in my stories from what they have told me and i love reading stories that do that anyway. Such as stories that say "Have you ever jumped off a cliff? I did once... it was the besy expiriance of my life." as a begining of a story. It always makes me want to read it more. So in a way, i think adressing the reader can be a good thing if you use it right. Thats just me. If you dont like it, i'm sorry that they bug you, but i just dont want to change how i write. Because i like to write for myself more than having people read it. But when people as me to i put it up.

I have a story that i wrote in the 6th grade and my teacher thought it was so good that she wanted me to personally read it to the class as an example. I will put it up for you to read okay? Its not the best, but it explains what i mean by i like to address the reader, and you'll see what kind of feeling it can bring out.

^_^ thank you oncec again for the constructive critsism but i'll counter act some of it beacause some of them need to be explained.

1. you said "Just for example: right before ~HPOV~ it says, "I need that picture of them with me..." Now if that were a thought of Tear's it might fit but in that case you would have to let the reader know she was thinking it, maybe by italisising it." your right, that is a mistake and it WAS meant to be in italics.

2. you said the stuff you put in * *, really that wasn't neccissary. It just makes it 10 x easier for me to clear up the story with them so people dont go "what is she talking about". Alot of stories i read have done that, *on the computer anyway*. I'm not exactly planning on being pro, nor do i want to be. I just want to do this for fun so i can get my ideas down in writing before i end up going crazy beacause they havent made an invention that takes thoughts and puts them onto a screen creating a movie... so yeah.

Oops i mean the 7th chapter... i'll be working on the 8th one soon though!

By the way you asked how i did it... well. When i feel bottled up and i just cant cry. I write poems. And the stronger i feel, the better they come out! I LOVE ABSOLUTLY LOVE MUSIC! OBSESSED! I love to play piano, even if i'm not to good at it, i play songs on it from memory of songs that ive heard... ive been playing it since i was like...3? Have you ever had a witness come to your door? People often think thats weird, but why? Beacause we want to preach about our truths? I just dont get it when people shun that. Its hot outside yet i still go door to door giving out magazines with gods message in it. We sing at our meetings. And *just so you know* we dont call our meeting place a "church" they are called kingdom halls and they are all over the world. And everysingle one teaches the same exact thing. So if i go to a meeting and hear about how christ dies as a ransom sacrafice, you will hear the same in africa. In the same week. Sorry... when it comes to God, i cant stop talking. If any of that sounds offensive, i didnt mean it to be, just speaking my beliefs. Oh, one more thing, sorry but this is my pet peeve when it comes to people talking about my religion. We do NOT go around preaching that ONLY 144,000 will go to heavan and live. Yes and no. 144,000 will go to heavan to serve god in the heavans, BUT for his loyal servants on earth, who have loved him fully, will live in a new paradise on earth. * a paradise that god and all the angels with jesus will wipe out all of evil on earth* and then live forever. So far out of all religion ive seen, ours is the most organized. Any other religion, you'll go to one church they say, "god loves you as long as u give sorry for your sins and hate the devil" and go to another says "either you go to hell or heavan be good or be punished" why should you live in complete fear when god is loving?

I like SOME negative songs, that talk about being left alone or missing someone who doesnt miss them or somthing. Those kinda songs kinda let out your emotions.
