There's some STRONG words in Finnish you rarely use (and cannot be translated literally into English), but when you use them you are 100% sure of the feelings.

1. Sisu
Sisu is strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity. Sisu has been described as being integral to understanding Finnish culture. However sisu is defined by a long-term element in it; it is not momentary courage, but the ability to sustain an action against the odds. Deciding on a course of action and the sticking to that decision against repeated failures is sisu.

2. Onnellinen
Happiness and joy over everything. Overwhelming feeling that life is real and good. (Happiness=iloisuus joy=ilo)

3. Minä rakastan sinua
'I love you'. It's not romantic phrase, so it's not used here. Seriously, when you say Finnish 'r', it's tough and it is strong r, stronger than in the word 'ring' or 'rust'. Some think it's inappropriate to say aloud, because it sounds really harsh.

This is for me to memorize this stuff.
