Thoughts: DDR Hottest Party 2

Looks like DDR is back. But is it better than ever? Not sure. One thing I've noticed is that the theme looks similar to a nightclub, which is pretty cool. The grpahics attually do look better, especially the lighting, but still this looks like a GC game. And for the songs, I'm not impressed. I'm getting tired of those crappy songs with too much rock added in like "Wings of an Angel" or "The Reason". It ruins the beat. We really need some hardcore techno like from Xtreme Mix. Or at least have some good songs from previous DDR games. Also enough with lirics on so many songs, they mess up the beat too. And another thing to complain, there's still no online functionality, the 360's already had online for DDR. What's wrong you with Konami?!? Having online won't ruin the f***ing game!!! It's like your worried that it will end up like Guitar Hero 3's online server, which I would doubt anyway. And look at GH3's and Mario Kart's sales! Mario Kart is doing awesome and GH3 is still in the top 10 for the Wii, I think partially because of online. Do you think your casual audience is too stupid to figure out how to play online?!? Your becoming as stupid as EA!
...*sigh* wow that's a lot of complaining XD. I think the 1st Hottest Party was good, I still play it, maybe since it was my 1st DDR game, but now I have high expectations this time, and it looks like it won't be competley met. I'll probably get this game eventually, it does look neat at least, but I'm not looking forward to it much.
For now, I'm giving this a preview score 7.8/10.
