Mood: Scared
Ugh... Today was terrible. It started out fine... But then, my family and I decided to come to a nearby park. My older sister insisted on the dog (a silky terrier we got from the pound) going with us. I brought my scooter and my sister brought roller blades (and a leash and bags for dog droppings.) Mum didn't bring anything.

So, we set out to the park. I had forgotten how to ride a scooter, as it was a very long time since I last rode one. My sister wanted to blade while holding the dog on a leash, while I practiced balancing with the scooter (which went rather badly - Also, the front of the scooter went up whenever I kicked.) My sister and I rode, while Mum walked with the dog. But then, as we approached the playground, we noticed a giant dog...

Our dog is a small, stupid one who ALWAYS barks and provokes other dogs, no matter what the odds. So, naturally, there was a problem. When I noticed the big dog, I alerted Mum and my sister, and we decided to turn around. There was no other option, really. Once again, I rode on the scooter and my sister rolled forward with the roller blades. But then... Our dog needed to do a #2. Mum picked up the dropping, but at the same time, I noticed the big dog and his owner moving towards us! I quickly told my Mum. She quickly tied the bag off, picked up our dog and started running. The big dog was chasing after us!

My Mum saw a parked SUV. She was telling us to go to the car, but neither of us moved. Our dog was in the back of the SUV, where the big dog couldn't see him. When the big dog's owner finally caught up (his dog was not on a leash), the dog casually walked to the grass and marked its territory.
Mum asked the man if he could put his dog on a leash, and he said 'no' in an aggressive tone He also stated that his dog was afraid of smaller dogs and that he would run away. I can't remember anything after that, but it's a good thing. That ******* never did put his dog on a leash, as I watched him from the car while we were going home, but he did grab his dog by the collar. Curious. Finally, before we left, we saw an 'Unleashed Dogs Prohibited' sign in clear sight. Aggressive dogs need to follow that rule.
