Okay.
I just finished reading the patial draft to Midnight Sun. Midnight Sun is Edward Cullen's point of view (POV) of the first book from Stephenie Meyer. It was brilliant, of course, and surpassed my expectations as Stephenie Meyer has done many times before. Edward is so mindful and yet... open, through the eyes of a vampire. It's simply amazing, especially hearing his perspective of Isabella 'Bella' Swan and the environment around him. Bella seems so perfect to him, to where it's so convincing than even being female, you fall in love with Bella too. It's almost frightening. And even when you know already what is to happen, you are litterally on the edge of your seat, biting your lip, screaming inside, just terrified and so very anxious of what is to happen next.
Now.
As you may have heard, Stephenie, the author of the Twilight saga has recently decided to put Midnight Sun on the back burner. She posted the partial draft on her website, which you must know since I just told you that I finished reading it. Again, beautiful. But, I have to give a big frack YOU to the person who redistibuted the draft of Midnight Sun. This person has just disappointed and possibly KILLED the hearts of many Twilight fans. I hope they have their coming-to's. It's awful what they did.
Obviously, if you are a complete idiot and don't know what I'm talking about...some asswhole who Stephenie Meyer trusted with a copy of the partial draft to Midnight Sun decided to ruin everything by redistributing the draft online. Jackass. So, yeah. He/she has destroyed everything in the writing and publication of Edward's POV of Twilight.
Thanks, Who-ever-you-are.
Thanks a whole hell of a lot.
I am displaying the link to Stephenie Meyer's website, holding the draft of Midnight Sun. She had, before the incident, posted the first chapter to the book. You may read it here and also browse the site.
