Missing my old teacher

Hi,
I went to the wake of my old band instructor. He passed away Saturday afternoon. His calling hours were last night in my home town of Swanton, Vermont. I went because he meant alot to me and he helped me realize my potential as a saxophone player. I saw his wife who I also had as a teacher before she retired before him. I wish I could have met her under better circumstances. I had gone to school that day not really wanting to. I went and pushed myself through. My teacher although having a temper at times was the best Missisquoi Valley Union High ever had. I will miss him greatly and I will be keeping his wife and family in prayer. I miss you Mr. Ostrander.
