n.n I love your drawings! They're so cute...^-^ Oh, and I wanted to tell you that copying from something is NOT bad. That's how you learn. In fact, it's the best way to learn; copying poses from other things, either pictures, or other people's drawings.

cat's are neat. when i need to vent i just turn up my radio and listen to WIXX and yell at my stuffed Pshyco-Bear. (that's his name. he's like a beanie baby sorta thing that haunts me.)

*scratches head* If i remember correctly i believe it probably took me about 6 weeks at least to draw and pen my 'welcome to wonderland' pic - but i can't say for sure as i quite working on it for about a month then picked it up again and finished it, effectively loosing track of 'work time'. ^^
*giggles* I'm pretty much self-taught here, and even i started off in anime - which you can see the 'anime' roots in my stuff even now....well...i can at least, i dunno bout everyone else. Give it time and you'll get better, trust me! I SUCKED big time when i started out! If you were to look in my scraps at DA you'd find an old pic that proves that. ;p
