Well I'll sing you the story of a sorrowful lad;
had everything he wanted, didn't want what he had.
He had wealth and pelf and name and fame and all of that noise;
he didn't have none of those simple joys.
His life seemed purposeless and flat;
aren't you glad you don't feel like that?
Wouldn't you
rather be a left-handed flea,
a crab on a slab at the bottom of the sea,
a newt on the root of a banyan tree,
a fig on a twig in Galilee,
than a man who never learns how to be free?
Not til he's underground.
I really appreciate the people who have commented and faved thus far; THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU GUYS! <3 It REALLY means a ton to me, you have no idea!
I'll keep trying harder!
WOOHOO! TAKING REQUESTS!!! I'm back in business ^^

Sorry about that ^^'
Well, do your best to hang in there. Sorry I can't be of more help than that -_-'
Very true. I only want exciting days when nothing bad has happened. I suppose it's human nature- that whole 'the grass in greener on the other side' stuff. (lol, I think I'm human! XD)
Yeah, that's pretty rough. I get extra time because of my anxiety. I'm usually the first one done, though, lol. The only time I get messed up is in math, and no amount of time will help me grasp that concept DX

Oh, congratulations! And be careful! XD Things are a bit better here. Most of the stress is off for a while, which is a major help. Hope things keep going well for you.
It's a good story. Rather, variety of stories. (shrug) That's really what got my interest. I can read/watch almost anything if the story is good.
Please take all the time you need. No need to rush on my account. It's worth waiting for :D
You'll do fine :) Just relax, and bring some peppermints to suck on. ...no, seriously, they'll relax you! At least, it worked for me ^^

White chocolate macadamia cookies are my favorite, actually. Chocolate chip is awesome, but I hate strong chocolate chips, and I've eaten ones that are just packed with chips, that it becomes undesirable. XD I also like oatmeal cookies, but I can't stand raisins in it. -taking them out- But I'll give a lot of new cookies a try! Funny thing is, I've only tried an exclusive few in my life. Okay, wow, now I'm telling you my whole cookie history. My, what has gotten into me?

Ah, it's nothing. It's not major stuff, but like a million little things all at once. Hopefully things will really take a good turn soon.
I'm a huge fan. I've never seen a better done anime horror story.
http://media.photobucket.com/image/mana%20tatsumiya/nabiki1115/Negima/NeoVersion.jpg
There's one. Although I'd prefer her smiling. She's got this kind of sinister/cute smile thing (The character, not the real girl, lol.) If that pic doesn't work for you, let me know .I can find others. And no pressure to even take the rq. If you do, no rush :)
They're just inconvenient things, aren't they? They aren't 'serious' so to speak, but just irritating.

Yeah, as long as the good and bad even up, it's tolerable. I'm numb to minor bad stuff now. Work is giving me trouble, and I just had to laugh at it. Something so stupid getting to me right now just isn't going to happen.
Oh, check this out! This a fave anime/manga of mine. The opening is creepy (much like the rest of the series), but strangely catchy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRtsIJXrhqc
When you're free, then, I'll give it to you. I can tell you about it, at least. I'd like to see Mana Tatsumiya (of Negima) drawn. That's it. See, I met this girl that looks EXACTLY like her, and I can't quite explain her well to a friend of mine. (weird thing is, she remembers me from high school, and I can pick her out from the yearbook, but I've got no idea who she is!) I could just show him a picture of Tatsumiya, but I've been wanting an RQ anyway, so...lol.
You know what the worst part is? People will tell me that there's nothing wrong, because it's not a physical ailment, and it really doesn't stop me from doing most things. When it DOES act up, I usually get a lot of crap.

Well, things are getting a little frustrating. Nothing major, since I've got some good things coming up. I'm just sick and tired of being in a bad mood all the time. ^^'
lol! I'm sure you will ^-^ No rush though, it's alright.
Oh, as for that...well, I've hurt my wrist a couple times, and narrowly avoided surgery for carpal tunnel due to martial arts and typing. But my imjury stems from birth. I was born 2 months early, so my motor skills didn't develop correctly. I'm still a bit behind. I can type at above average speeds, but drawing and handwriting can be difficult to get to an acceptable level.

Well, it's got to clear up eventually. The bad luck factor was getting ridiculous for a while. But things are looking up a bit now. I hope they are for you, too.
I WILL catch up! (lol, my 'determined' voice)
I've never really had a great art teacher. One tried to fail me because I couldn't draw. Well, funny thing- old injury wouldn't LET me. My motor skills were a little messed up, and they're just started to recover the past couple years. So, I was getting failed because of that? Pfh. I put in the effort; that should be enough.

I really hope that's the only thing that jinxes me, since it's the only thing I could do something about, lol.
No problem with the fave and comment. I've got to catch up on your work. That one caught my eye, though.
Nah, not at all. To be honest, I'd love my OC drawn by Noizi Ito as much as Masashi Kishimoto. (Shakugan no Shana and the Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya are a couple of Ito's works). So your style isn't off at all :)
Art's subjective like that, I guess. What works for one person doesn't work for another. It's weird how it works sometimes. I guess creativity can come from anywhere.

Ah, too late. I jinxed myself. I just had three bad days in a row! I got hurt at work (again!), got into an argument with one of the instructors at martial arts, and had another problem at work. Wow, amazing huh?
Well, this is the first time I've illustrated Ryouko even close to correctly. I think you did really well, especially since my description was really vague.
For me, it's hard to draw from nothing. But once I've sat down and written "Okay, brown hair and eyes, bags under his eyes...blah blah", illustrating becomes a little easier^^

I've had a little bit of good luck this week, so I'm definetly in a little bit of better spirits (Not sure that makes sense. But it's nearly 3:30 am, so I'll be lucky if I'm being close to coherent. lol)
Things will start looking up for you soon. Bad luck doesn't last forever. Me, a stupid little thing helped me out. I got a DVD, and they took a ridiculous amount off the price. So that kind of made my day, and things went up from there.
Thank you! I've got so many stories about Ryouko., my OC. He's been so many things, with different names. I used to write fanfics about HOUSE MD, and he was an intern doctor there, under the name Daniel Holmes. He's been in so many fics. But he's at his best in Naruto, I think.
I think you illustrate your OC's better than I do. Maybe make a story first, then illusrate it. You'd be surprised at how satisfying it is for your OC to have a bad day when you're having a bad day, or a good day when you're having a good day, or whatever works :)

Thank you :) I wish I had more art to submit. I just get so frustrated so quickly with my work it never gets finished. And now I've misplaced the sketch I was going to submit ><'

Glad to hear that :) I've been miserable this week. My sinuses acted up at the same time as my acid reflux, so breathing was pretty difficult a couple night ago -_-' It's not REALLY a breathing problem, but it's irritating enough to keep me awake all night.
Gah! I completely forgot! I got called away or something when I went to comment (My Grandma is moving in, so things are kind of hectic.). Sorry for the wait! I commented on all your pics, so I should be caught up now, lol.

Let's see...cold remedies. Suck on lemons, drink tea, and steam yourself in the shower for twenty minutes. That's what I do, and I'm constantly getting colds because of my job. You'll feel better really quickly. You can also rub vics on your chest and throat, and gargle salt water to help you breathe easier.

Okay, thank you ^^ My parents have kinda laid off recently, because I'm like never over there, except with legit excuses. (ie: her birthday party this weekend) So they have less chances to bother me.
My mom loves cats too! And my sis. We have our collie, 2 cats and a fish. We used to have a rat, and 2 hamsters as well. And 2 cats before that. We like to keep a menagerie XD My cat's name is Yuki.

Well, thank you very much :) That's kind of you to say.
I wouldn't let it bother you. Boy or girl, you'd have someone complaining about who you picked. That's just how things are. I wouldn't take it personally. Just go with what makes you happy. I know it's easier said than done, but that's where you test your mettle as an independent person with her own strengths.
Her name is Black Hayate (Like Hawkeye's dog in FullMetal Alchemist), she looks just like the aforementioned dog. She's three months old, and incredibly well-behaved and loving!

That happens too. You get burned enough times, you don't go near the stove anymore, y'know? I try to trust people, at least a little. But it doesn't work well for very long.
I hardly think that's a reason for anyone to freak out. That kind of thing is normal. You're young, and pardon me for saying so, but at that age you test your options. Unless you're a social recluse like me, lol!
But, seriously, there's not a thing wrong with that. You like what you like, right? And if this girl is good for you in all the ways you've said, then you might try pointing that out to your family. When you find someone that makes you happy, hold onto them. You've gotta live your life for you, after all.
My only advice is not to make a huge public display of it. A lot of people don't like that from any kind of couple. Other than that, go for it and have fun with it :)
I'm doing...okay. I won't go into detail, because I'm not sure myself what's wrong. I have a new puppy, though!

True. Still, I should learn to play nicely with others, I guess. Trust isn't an easy concept for me.
Yeah, it would've been great to see her again. Maybe I'd even get to say 'hello' this time, and not say something stupid! (fat chance of that, lol!)
If you want to talk about it, I won't repeat what you tell me. I'm happy to listen and offer advice if necessary.
Have a nice trip!

I can't quite bring myself to drop my stoic demeanor yet. Every time I try, something bad happens. So it's kind of a 'once bitten, twice shy' thing.
No, I'm afraid I'm stupid around her. lol. What's funny is that my Dad ran into her when he was in the hospital, and she remembered me. I, of course, couldn't be there because I was sick. Darn it! (although I'm laughing about it now)
Boy, that's a hard situation. See, my parents would be fine with sort of thing. But 8 grades of religious instructors saying 'relationships are evil' isn't without it's toll on me, I guess ^^'

If I knew her number, I would TOTALLY do that, lol. My problem is that I usually walk around and seem very...'forbidding', I guess. I always had to look like a tough guy because of how much I got bullied when I was younger, and I haven't quite got to the point where I can lower my guard at all, sadly enough.
That's probably the case. Only knowing about it what I do, I would guess it's just a typical parents thing. If they didn't worry, they wouldn't be good parents. After all, that's what parents are for XD

Well, it was kind of dumb on my part. She was pretty obviously hitting me, and I somehow don't even come up with 'hey, wanna do something sometime?' Ugh, I could kick myself for that -_-' I'm pretty sure I've got some kind of crush on her if I'm still thinking about it, lol.
I don't know. I'm not a parent, and I'm sure the idea would mortify me if I was, but the way I look at it, a 'date' isn't necessarily a super serious thing. It's not like it'll lead to marriage (at least not right away). You always run the risk of something happening, but it's perfectly normal. College age dates should be more serious imho, but high school dates- heck, I say just have fun, lol.
lol.

No way, enjoy dating life instead! I never actually had a dating life in high school, and I regret it. In fact, it's funny- I ran into this drop-dead gorgeous girl, and she says "Oh, I remember you! You're ------, right? We graduated together!"
Now, being the natural, smooth-talker that I am, I said:
"Oh, really? Small world, huh?"
I beat myself up for it for months, lol. I still do! I just suck when it comes to speaking with females (in person). So, enjoy dating life!
Yup, I finished up. My college semester ended last Tuesday. Mercifully. lol.

No pressure. Draw when you feel like it. It's not goo for you to force yourself to do something you like. You might wear yourself out on it.
Thanks^^ Things have gotten better since we last talked. Finals are over and my sanity is slowly returning XD Hope things start to lighten up for you.

WELCOME BACK!!! (Chorus of random animals sing 'welcome back')
Don't worry about my rq. There's no rush. Heck, there's not even a need to complete it.
As for your drawings- they're good! If you're worried about them. Well, it's like getting in a pool. The water's fine once you jump in. It's the same with drawing. Have confidence.
I've been stressed as all get-out. Between final exams and everything else, my head has been anywhere but where it should be. A bad time to zone out, too!
How about you?

Ah, sorry! Man, there's just no talking to you! j/k, of course^^ I've been lazy lately, but I didn't have any choice. I've gotten four injuries in the past month or so, so I've had no choice but to take it easy -_-' That also means less comp time, since typing hurt after the burn I got.
It sounds like it's really rewarding. That's a good thing for sure^^

More or less, yeah^^ Bah, my own diet laziness kicked in at a bad time- I got hurt at work, so I can't exercise. Thankfully, my metabolism is taking care of most of the problem. But still, I'm a die-hard martial artist, and not being able to exercise...It kinda sucks, simply put, lol.
Sorry, I was gone for a while myself, so I just kind of lost track of time ^^' Sorry 'bout that.
So, how'd the dance thing going?

Yeah, that's absolutely right! I eat a ton of small meals, and at no set time. It's an 'athlete's diet', I guess^^
I guess you're right about that. I think I'm just tired of being a student. I mean, counting preschool, that's a long time to be doing the same thing you don't especially like. I tend to learn more, and learn better, on my own, too.
Ah, have fun at the dance! I'm just getting over a cold myself. That, and a nasty injury from work -_-'

That's healthier anyway. I get a lot of excerise, between work and martial arts. So it kind of works out. My eating habits are something like 'I'll eat what I want, but I'll work it off' or 'I'll eat healthy stuff, but not a lot of it'.
Lol. My Mom and Dad are smart, but they aren't fans of math. Although my Dad is good at conventional math. My Mom is one of those people who can just make the right decision in the right situation somehow. And me...I can, um...doing nothing! ^^'
That sounds like a blast!
I just caught a cold, so I can appreciate how much that must suck.

Oh, eating too fast does me in, too. That, and eating too much of the wrong stuff. I've corrected that a bit lately, opting more for fish and vegetables over meat. Still- don't crash diet too hard, okay?
Japanese is different, but it makes sense in a way. Math- nope, no sense there; not for me anyway. It's awesome you're good at that. It's a practical skill to have.
Sounds like a vacation would do that little feud good. Thankfully, I avoid that most of the time, too. My parents are the type who let me make my own (small) small mistakes, while preventing me from making any big ones. So we don't usually clash.
Have a good time on vacation!

Aw, c'mon, don't do that! My appetite goes along with my illness. That, and I'm naturally small for my size, so my appetite is smaller. I would bet that you're taller than me, or at least a similar height.
Let's see. I got my grades back for my midterms. Math was...a failure. It was all stupid mistakes, too. Graphing something, then not shading it. Forgetting a variable, etc. Man, that burned me up! Japanese was better, with a B. But it was forgetting part of one character that dropped my grade a lot. That was...irritating.
Overall, I'll do fine in Japanese. Math, I'll either just pass, or I'll drop it before I fail it.
It really sucks, because I do well in everything but math!
It's okay, it happens. Life outside the net, y'know? It's all good :) As for me...nothing new, really. A couple new fics up. Two bombed already. (Laughs) I'm not surprised that Negima (written similar to the manga, with the same humor) bombed, since this site is 85 percent female, but I expected Tsubasa to do better. Ah well.
Hope you're doing well!

It's still moving very slowly for me, unless I'm on at 4:00 am when no one else is on, lol.
I know how that goes. As for me, it IS irritating, but since I never have much of an appetite anyway, it's not so troublesome. I'd imagine my stress level doesn't help the problem ^^'
It's good you realize your healthy and don't need to crash diet. I'd imagine all your activities help that, too. My diet is terrible, but I exercise it all off.
yeah, I'm already done chillaxing. My first midterm grade wasn't what I wanted (yet better than I expected. But stil lousy). So, so much that XD

Well, I'll be drawing, and I'll mess up a line. No big deal. Then, I erase the line, and it won't erase completely. Okay, still not bad. I'll edit it later. And then something finally really gets screwed up, and that's it- game over. lol.
I'm terrible about that. I don't eat enough as it is, so I pretty much only eat what I can choke down XD
Nah, I'm being honest about my skills. They really aren't where they should/could be. But I do tend to demand too much of myself, I guess.

Wow! That was one heck of an omen! That person had it dead-on! Comparing is not good for you! You're right, that person must've been pyschic!
XD
Ah, see, I don't agree with that entirely. I think it's okay to say 'this week sucked' or whatever. I used to compare myself to other people and think "Well, he's got cancer, my life isn't so bad", but then I thought "that's him, not me. I feel bad for him, but my life can still suck- just in a different way!" Lol, sorry, that was pointless of me to say.
Commented!
Thanks, I really appreciate it! I've got two seperate ideas (that could potential work together, if you're majorly bored). I was reading Negima again, and I was laughing at something Asuna did (I usually do). Then I pictured my OC in Negima (I'm working on a fic for it). What popped into my head but Asuna and Sakura (From Naruto. Not Sakurako, Or Sakurazaki, or Asakura, lol) teasing my poor OC's. What THAT Led to was Sakura wearing a Negima uniform. And THAT led to me pestering you for another RQ: Either Asuna and Sakura in Negima uniforms, or just Sakura.

I would call that 'constructive criticism'. Flaming is stuff like 'your art sucks'. I can't stand that kind of thing. Helpful suggestions are different.
Agreed. It's also 'fun' to get ideas then completely forget them.
I've been kinda miserable, actually. Bad anxiety, regular illness, and mutliple problems at work. BLECH! Sorry I haven't asked. I was sure I did. Sorry 'bout that.

Lol, nice quote. You're right, though. What gets me is that the kids who skip don't get in trouble sometimes, but I will if I put one toe out of line. Like getting a drink on the way for class and walking in at the bell, instead of before. I can't stand that -_-'
I don't know. I've been told I think mathematically, but I jsut don't get it. Probably because of all the steps involved. If I could just get an answer without all the steps, then I'd prob do okay. When there's four answers and you have to pick the right one by doing work, I'm okay with that. As long as I know what the outcome might be. But if there's nothing to work with...I've got nothing, lol.
I've had friends who were supposedly flamers, but they actually weren't. They would say 'Try resizing your picture' or 'can you darken your lines', and people would go ballistic on them. To me, that's constructive criticism, not flaming.
Inspiration is a great thing :D Me, I just tend to run out of it at the wrong times -_-'

You know what the worst part of all those kinds of problems are imho? It's the fact that people choose not to believe you because they can't see the problem. you wouldn't believe how many times that's happened to me. It's done everything from cost me money to getting me suspended. I never skip class once in years, and then I'm legitimately ill, and they can't believe me. Well, to the nonbelievers I say: :p
Math is my Achilles heel. I just don't get it. I mean, basic stuff is fine, but when you get to word problems and three variables, I just don't follow.
That's a good point. I like Law and Order and NCIS, because oyu can pretty much pick those up anytime, too.
Sure, never hurts to meet some new people. If I've recommended them, they aren't flamers, btw. I always wince when someone recommends a friend, since I don't know what they're like.
Thanks^^ I hope so, too. My last couple never got finished, but they started out well enough.

My problem (anxiety) is one of those that I'm supposed to have all my life. Now I'm told I might lose it by twenty-five, or that I won't need medication (though I should take it. Yucky). There's a treatment, but it's tantamount to brain surgery...yeah, not gonna happen XD Not if I can get over it on my own.
The main thing is to enjoy it. I really do. I was working with a couple younger kids today, and that's always fun.
I'm okay with history that I'm interested. Particularly world war II, and Japanese history up to the Meiji era^^
I've lost interest in House the last couple of seasons. The early stuff was better imho.
Some of them. A rare few commented on my pics by chance. I met most of them through other friends. Commenting on the profile started all that, though.
Sure, we've all got our favorites. Right now, I'm designing an AMV (in my head) set to 'Joint' by Mami Kawada. It's going to be a fanmade Naruto opening. Or maybe a Shakugan no Shana tribute.

So you're living proof :D
That sounds difficult to deal with. Karate might actually help there. It won't improve your site, but it helps balance and coordination.
That's a good talent to have.
It is a catchy little tune, eh? I know what you mean- I don't watch TV much either. I tend to be writing on the computer at that time. I'll get off for Psyche, Law and Order, House, and sometimes Naruto (the ones I don't have on DVD)
They're all a great bunch. They were among the first friends I'd made here.
That answers my question^^ I meant what anime do you use. Sorry, should've been more clear.

Lol, well, I'm used to it. The pain comes with the job. You can't learn flexible in a mental sense, but your body will remember each time you push your limits, and you'll get stronger for it. It's possible, I'm sure of it.
Weapons are one of my vices, so I appreciat the mental shout-out ^^
There is a right way to learn, and you'll definetely be good with it.
Lol, I'd forgotten about that! Good reference!
It is hard. I can do stories, but I can't draw them -_-' Or hands. I just had a good ref, and happened to be able to do it well for one night, lol.
Psych is about this detective and his assistant. The psychic is Shawn Spencer, and his assitant is Gus. Those two are hysterical! It's worth watching if you have a sec to check it out. Here's there theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_Gced_Z_KU
Some people don't reply. Just keep trying. Eventually, you'll get a solid group of online friends. I would try talking mostly to people who seem to be on every day.
Only as a hobby, I'd never share them. AMV's are fun. I need to update my software, though. Maybe I'll upload to Youtube sometime. What kind of AMV's do you do?

Yeow. I'm flexible, but not THAT flexible. I'm good with pain almost anywhere, just not stomach. I've got my collarbone popped out and my ribs bruised, and they hurt like heck, but I could live with that. But stomach pain...not my thing. I give you a lot of credit for doing what you do.
You can do it^^ Sparring doesn't hurt. Especially when you can block a punch. My forte is really weapons and the nastier end of hand to hand combat, but that's only because it's what I learned first. Karate is more passive, but it works just as well. Everyone can punch or kick, but not everyone can do it the most efficient way possible. Imagine it like this: Imagine your getting set to kick high for dancing. The same principles apply to Karate- you don't want to fall over in either case.
Yeah, I'd really rather not get shot. They'd prob stick me in the crazy wing of the hospital for laughing.
Hands are evil. But...

By the way, have you ever seen the show 'Psych'?
It really does work that way. Once I made friends with mitchellP, Jo_Pen, Midnight_Chaos, Alchemest1, Flashthehedgehog, Shadowthe_hedgehog (Now KeikoSilver- another good person to meet), and a lot of others, that's when my work really got some attention.
I can't tell if I enjoy it or not. I start out having fun, but I get frustrated pretty quickly. I usually draw when I want to relax. Maybe if I waited until I wasn't stressed, I would write better.

I hate it when that happens -_-'
I didn't follow a standard deck. I just counted out '1000' or something on the cards, then put them in a deck, with a couple low numbers, but mostly high numbers. I only ever finished the deck twice, I think. When I pulled a muscle, I stopped doing that.
Don't worry- and route for the other guy. I can live with a loss^^ I'm really going to just see where I am. The last time I sparred in a tournament, I lost against a fifth degree blackbelt and a second degree blackbelt. I had no chance, but I was thrilled when I landed a single punch on the 5th degree. He was built like a tree, so it was hard to get near him to hit him.
Wow, lucky that it missed it! I don't doubt it would have nailed me. But things like that, for some reason, I get up and laugh about immediatly. If I fall, I'm laughing before I get up. I guess that's how I deal with pain. If you ever hear something like a hyena, I probably got shot or something XD
lol! And don't worry if you don't remember, it's not major. For me, it was, because I drew a decent background, and a fairly good set of hands (THAT was a huge deal for me! lol)
You ARE relatively new. Give yourself time to get fans. No one become a huge success overnight. The more people you know, the more people you'll have bugging you to draw stuff.
Whatever works for you. I don't get upset by great art if anything, it drives me to try harder. The thing about Midnight_Chaos is that she explains her art with some tutorials here and there. If I could draw, they'd be helpful, lol.

I used to do a deck for crunches (Well, tried to). Aces were eleven, jokers were thirteen, and so on. That's really harder than it seems!
I agree. Him and I will be sparring in a tournament. Now, in our exhibition bouts, I've always won. But in a tournament, I can't use coins, and the fighting style is restricted. He'll probably win and I'll never live it down! But he would deserve the win. I'm kind of rooting for him, even if he's against me.
Believe it or not, no. I've learned how to stay up on them. I DO skid a bit, though.
Oh, I've got a good one! Since I got a fortune cookie that said 'good luck' in it, I've:
-had a stomach illness
-fallen down on the ice twice
-been late to ref a game (that NEVER happens!)
-Gotten hit with a puck in the ribs
-fell down the stairs (only two at a rink, thankfully)
-Had a broken score clock at the rink
-Been hit in the head with a hockey stick
-Had my hand smacked by a player
-gotten a call from an irritated relative (not my fault, lol)
So far, so good, right? Good luck is coming my way? Before or after the bad luck finished me off? lol.
I can kind of picture the move you mean, now that you mention it.
Blah, I doubt my fics are any good. If the couple people who read them enjoy them, then I'm happy^^ Although I can't say I know what they see in them. Some of my work just seems so lousy...As for my pics, the only one I REALLY like is a comic I made about my OC vs. Itachi.
You're beating yourself up needlessly, but me saying it won't matter. You've just got to prove yourself to yourself :D
You're doing great, especially for starting so recently. you could be like me and stay the same for two years. I can already see improvement in your work, to be honest.
That works^^ I had someone do the same for me. Wish she came on FAC more often. If you haven't checked out her gallery, it's worth a look. midnight_chaos is the username.

Pushups are really a great motivator :D
Oh, he's trying his best. He's just skittish by nature. But he comes up and challenges me, lol, it's not like I"m forcing it on him (or that I'm really good- I'm not). But he calls me out, and I don't like to turn down a challege. We're good friends, so it's never anything major. He doesn't get frustrated, surprsingly.
Sounds like an interesting move. I can't picture it, though :( I can throw people, but the dojo really restricts our practice. No wonder none of us ever improve enough. When we spar, we wear these stupid boots with leather on the bottom. On a tile floor, it's really fun to try to keep your balance...not! XD
No more comparing! It's not good for you, lol! Besides, give yourself time. Look at me, I've been trying to draw for nearly four years, and I'm STILL bad. I think I like maybe five pics I have ever put up. And now that my fics aren't worth anything, it's depressing, lol.
Hmm...I might have a reference. Or I can at least recommend one. There's a series called 'How to Draw Manga'. One of them is called 'couples portrayl'. It's really helpful...well, it would be, if I could draw -_-' lol I could scan a page or two if you have specific poses you need (For future reference, since there's none tht would apply to my RQ)

Sounds like martial arts would be perfect for you. Lots of techniques, less talking. In our school, if a student tries to talk over you or ignores you, they do pushups. So they stop talking really fast, lol.
lol, yeah. I'll have to try it out against someone who's more talented. The guy I was sparring with is kind of...cowardly. He tries hard, but he just loses his focus sometimes.
I'd imagine it's because they both require flexibility and athleticism. Jumping kicks, dodges, etc, all need movement. If you can move your body effectively, your attacks and defenses will be sturdy. At least, that's how I'd guess it would work.
No more comparing, then. Not until you're sure of yourself. You put waayyyy too much pressure on yourself imho.
No rush, take your time. I appreciate you drawing it, as always. I thought about trying it, but I took a look at some of the manga pages I tried to draw...ugh. lol. You, on the other hand, can handle it :D

No way, you could handle it. You seem like the type of person who could be patient, and that's what you really need.
Nah, I'm not very good yet. I can hit the face or chest, but not with much force or decent aim. But coins are a nice distraction, and they can be used other ways. Canes, too, but I'm a little better with those. I collect them, too, so it works out :D
Sounds like a lot on your plate. I'd go with what seems the most fun to you. There's always time for the serious stuf later. I was never one of those people that enjoyed school or made friends, and I majorly regret it now. To me, Japanese and martial arts are fun. Difficult but rewarding. But one fact (I don't know it from personal experience, but I've had instructors tell me it's true) is that dance and martial arts compliment each other.
The comments and compliments are well deserved, and don't tell yourself otherwise :D
I've always got one handy, lol. How about one of these:
Yusuke Urameshi or Kurama from YuYu Hakusho
Setsuna from Negima
Sakura teasing Ryouko (By that, I mean like maybe she's checking him for a fever while he's blushing)
I'll reply to your PM asap

I'm going to be testing again soon, and it's hard to believe even when you're there. I still can't believe I got a black belt at all. The thought of someday being high ranked it kind of intimidating. Because once you finish learning something, you start teaching it, and it's an entirely different process, since we all learn at different speeds.
You flip them at a high speed at vital spots or pressure points. No one sees them coming, and they're legal to carry. Plus, you CAN do damage, but you can also avoid doing any damage to someone. I wouldn't want to seriously injure someone, you know?
Another good weapon is a cane. That's a fun one to train with^^
I am. But that's not always a good thing, lol. When there's other stuff to get done and I'm focused on one or two other things, it gets difficult.
They are not epic fail. I'll read them ASAP^^
I'll have to take a look at all your new work. But I guarantee that whatever you ink would look great :D (Not that your shading isn't awesome; I just think your inking would be awesome)

Oh, sure! There's first dan, or first degree, all the way up through mastery (tenth degree). Though I've heard some arts stopped at eighth degree.
It never hurts to know how to defend yourself. SOunds like you surprised the heck out of your 'attacker', lol. It's always fun getting reactions like that. One time, I was sparring with a friend, and I used coins as a weapons. He didn't see that coming, so he covered his face, and I scored a clean hit to the stomach.
Yeah, it is pretty frustrating.
I think it would be a beautiful mix. My OC really needed a gf (Sakura was taken), so I created her. She's fun- she's cold-hearted, but then she'll flirt with him, and he'll turn bright red and have no clue how to react. She's fun^^
Lol, that's true. You sound as thrilled as I do with my fics.
I'll read them first chance I get. Just keep reminding me. I've got a lot of reading to catch up on, and I don't want to forget.
Hidan is a pretty popular villain! I've heard of him, sure! In my fics, he's fun for my OC to fight.
NG is just easier^^ And cooler than my real name. So it all works out:D

I am^^ But not in Karate (I'm a blue belt in that, which is three from black in my school). My black belt is in my sword art. It doesn't take horribly long to get to black (It took me six years, but I was only serious for one year. I could have been done sooner), but the ranks beyond black take a while.
The main rule of martial arts is to protect your ideals, religion, body, and all of those of the people around you. Hopefully not by fighting. So you're right. It doesn't do to fight, but there are times when you've got to stand up for yourself, too. I'm still learning the 'when' part of that. Thankfully, I don't get many major conflicts (if any).
Playing was fun, but coaches ruined it for me. I had a lousy bunch of them. With reffing, at least I can help the kids learn. Not that they'll listen to me over their coaches...
lol, it's kind of like that. Sometimes I just do pure love stories, but most of the time there's another story. In one instance, my OC leaves the village for being unappreciated. They sic a bounty hunter on him, who happens to be a girl. They know he won't hit girls, so he'll be at a disadvantage if he tries to fight her. It all works out, because he falls for him, even though she's supposed to be this cold-hearted mercenary. I had fun creating her- she's a mix of Japanese and Egyptian. She stemmed from reading Negima. Mana Tatsumiya, to be precise, was one reference.
Although it's usually RyoukoXSakura, as you've heard, lol! I had one where Ryouko had to serve Sakura. That was fun to write^^ IT was one of the rare times I think I got a good mix of comedy, romance, and seriousness. I'm never happy with my fics, though, to be honest.
I'll read them! I'm not much of a poet, but I know good stuff when I see it :D
My pleasure! Asuna looked great! It's never a problem asking for RQ's. Let me know if you get bored, I could always mention one (or ten), lol.
I just go by NG online. It's the easiest thing for most people, myself included. (I'm too lazy to type out my own user name! That's just sad, lol!)
Sometimes they're only dorky in their element, lol. Or they might be one of the people who aren't dorky, but really into it. Just as a general rule, they really get into their arts^^
No way, that's totally selfish on her part! Whenever I had something like that happen, I just said 'I like what I like; I don't expect you to get it'. We're all individuals, why can't we like what we want, right?
It's amazing how many people hide behind their keyboards and call themselves 'fans'. To me, a true fan isn't afraid to rock their colors.
That's a pretty gross misuse of martial arts, you're right. If he's threatening like that, he's probably just some cocky punk who hasn't really mastered his art, nor does he understand it. (You guessed it, I've had that problem.) One time, I had a drunk adult at a family party try to pick a fight with me (I was fourteen-fifteen at the time). He tried to get his kids to fight me. I didn't back down from either of them (one was a boxer, the other a brown belt in Karate). Then HE tried. It was about to become self-defense on my part, before he stormed away. I hate people like that.
Figure skaters are usually better skaters than hockey players, truth be told. I was never a star player, but I held my own. Reffing is way more fun than playing, to me.
Lol, glad you think so. I've been writing romantic comedies about my OC's. It's funny how their situation might be comically perverted (typical anime stuff, I mean. Nothing crazy), but the OC's are petrified. They're like 'Yes, I like this girl. But I'm not good enough for her!'
let's see...Okay, look on top of the screen, where it says 'welcome _____(name here)_____' Look just below your name, and you'll see the 'PM' button.
You should absolutely post them!
Thanks for doing Asuna! I commented and faved^^

Aw snap, I completely missed the first part of you comment and just copy/pasted your reply! Sorry ^^' What I MEANT to say was: Martial artists tend to be good people who are easy to get along with. You can tell whose really into it by how dorky they are (I'm really into it XD), funny as it is. But the best thing about martial artists is that they tend to be loyal. Once you make friends and/or earn their respect, you keep it.
It's all because there isn't one, single, solitary person near my age whose into what I'm in to. Except for online people. In real life, I usually don't bother with people all that much. I got bullied too much, so I don't trust people easily. Sound pathetic, doesn't it? lol.
Well, to me, the work is rewarding. I can also help teach kids how to play hockey, and every once in a while I'm told I'm good at what I do. It beats a 'real' job, and it's much more enjoyable. I just take the bullying in context- if they could do what I do, they'd be on skates trying. The fact that they aren't means that they can't, and all they can do is complain. It speaks volumes about what kind of people they are.
You're right. Normal can't be put to a standard.
Oh, sure. I always have fun with that, since my OC's (Like their creator) are pathetically girl shy! It keeps things going nicely^^
Aw, c'mon, you don't give yourself enough credit! I bet you could do it.If you'd like to practice, we could do it via PM until you're comfortable. You're definetly a creative type (WAY more than a wooden bench, to use your term :D ), you'd do well.
That happens, no worries.

Ah yeah I can see how that would help! I probably wouldn't have thought of that until I'd been doing it for a while. It's cool to have someone who knows their stuff when I'm gonna be totally new at it, lol.
Let's see...the ones I really got into (or still am into) are Naruto, Bleach, XXX Holic (Nothing like it sounds. It's actually rated ages 13 and older), Tsubasa, Shakugan no Shana (Great novel series. Only two have hit the US though, but there's a three-book manga adaptation and a great anime!), Love Hina, Negima, Rurouni Kenshin, Death Note, and a couple others. I read alot, lol.
Anything and everything, really. Even if I ref a perfect game, I still missed something according to the parents and coaches. I've been insulted about my age (I look younger than I am), my height (I'm average height, so I'm not sure about that one), and a few other things. But it's okay, I couldn't care less. I enjoy what I do^^
that is an awesome quote! you're right- how DO you define normal, right? It's all relative.
lol, that's true. I usually force someone to play the part of someone my OC likes. (In Naruto, it's Sakura. In Bleach, It's Rukia. and so on.) It IS more entertaining that way sometimes, but usually when the person knows you well enough to set up lines.
Well, knowing the chars helps, that's true. But if you've got talent for it, it's easy to see.

That's the nice thing about martial arts- even if you're not a weapons person, you can still get into it. For example, Karate's literal translation is 'empty hands'. You DO learn weapons, but mostly you learn to defend against weapons. I do recommened learning weapons, though- every move in Karate just makes more sense what you do. If you're blocking a sword, and you know how to swing one, you get the full effect of the move much better.
I wasn't into anime until I caught Naruto one day. Seeing the fourth opening got me completely hooked! I was into Pokemon, but I never put it together with anime, since I'd never seen any others before that. (except for the old Speed Racer re-runs- wow that was some terrible stuff, lol)
Death Note is one of my favorites, though^^
That kind of thing happens. I had a couple bad days of work, and I was just completely on edge. Being a referee, I get insulted constantly, and at the end of the day, I'm just in no mood for it. So I can relate there, that's for sure.
I wonder what's up with my profile then. I keep it short so that loading times don't get in the way of people's comments. Other than that, I can't guess what's up with it. It's weird, just like it's owner^^'
I do a couple Death Note Rp's. I've been L, Light, my OC, Matt, Mello, Near, Rester...just about everyone, I guess 00' I'd be happy to RP if you're intersted. (A couple good RPers, roadrash and Vinca, are frequent commenters on my profile. You could check the comments they leave if you need a guideline for something. Though I'm sure you're good at RPing and just being modest, like you are with your art work :) )

I'm something of a collector. Video games and weapons are my vices (along with books). My pride and joy are my two custom-made swords. They'd be worthless to someone else, but those two helped me make black belt^^ It's strange to thank an inanimate object, but with a sword, having it in working order really does help, big time.
Glad I can help^^ It occured to me that I never asked- what kind of anime/manga are you in to?
We all deal with frustration somehow. Art relaxes some people- me, I have to write something. Although my Negima fic is going to cause me to destroy my keyboard or something 00' jk.
I hate it when that happens -_-' For a while, my internet kept freezing, and I must've lost a dozen comments in a row. It drove me nuts.
What kind of RP's do you do? I'm not great myself, but I'm always happy to give it a try^^ Even if I don't know what show you're following, I can usually pick up on the character and do it decently.

lol, I'll have to remember that. I'm that way, too, but with comebacks. If someone insults me, I'll forget until later- and THEN I think up the perfect response.
Let's see...well, the latest was this set of curved Filipino swords called 'Kris' blades. They're really fun to train with, but I had no idea they existed 00'
Please, take your time. No rush at all, I just appreciate you taking the RQ! For the record, I highly recommend every anime/manga I listed. lol, sorry, that's my bad habit- I get on a kick like that, and I immediatly start talking about it. (Ask NPG how many times I asked 'hey' have you ever seen Negima?' lol)
I'm usually in control, but art just brings out the worst in me^^' I hate it when I can't do something right when it looks like it should be easy. (I use easy references- or so I think, until I start working!)
lol, I usually just think I hit submit, but then I notice I missed. Ah well. I never mind long comments^^

I can only remember certain things well. I block out a lot on purpose. Not in this case, that was an accident. ^^'
Nah, not so much. As horrible as it sounds, I'm completely detached from most of them emotionally. When I was younger (and even now) I had bad anxiety trouble, and they always treated me like crap for it. I haven't forgotten it, and I can't forgive it yet. But there's a few I trust completely^^
Hey, go for it! My friends are mostly martial artists, so I get obscure books and strange weapons. Not that I'm complaining!
Oh, please do! I was just watching Negima the other night (one of my faves! Ken Akamatsu's work is always good, but it rarely ever works in anime. I'm glad Negima did.), and I wound up writing a partial fan fic. I'm still working, but, looking the way it is, I'm a shoo-in for the dummy force/baka rangers!
So, which Negima series do you prefer? Negima! or Negima?!
No, I understand what you're saying. Thanks for sharing :) I have a habit of destroying my art equipment when I get frustrated, and I came close to having a few casualties the other night. I just can NOT draw! ><'
lol, well, I don't mind. It just shows you put thought into your comments.

No, I'm on more often now. NPG has that backwards. She commented on my first pic, and I replied to her to say 'thanks'. So, she found me, lol. When I came here, I didn't talk to anyone for quite some time. I just popped on for thirty seconds to post a picture or story, answered comments, then jumped off again. The fact is, the site is much larger now, so it's harder to pick out certain people. Oh, and NPG and I had drawing Sonic characters in common at that point, too. That's really all I commented on back then^^' There's lots of people I haven't commented on, so don't take it too personally. It wasn't intentional.
lol, a little violent, I guess. But alot of them are people you can really rely on, too. Two of them do construction now. Well, used to, they're both in their eighties now.
I know that feeling. I had a problem like that, once. I think I wound up trading with someone. I forgot what I did, but I wound up getting what I wanted out of it^^
W-ell, I've got a couple things in mind. If you pick whatever's easiest for you, I won't feel TOO guilty, lol.(I have the worst time accepting charity) I'll just list a couple, and you pick^^
Shana from Shakugan no Shana
Asuna from Negima
Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin
Kurama from YuYu Hakusho
I've been meaning to ask: Do you do anything special when you draw your lines? I still can't get over how defined they are, all while not straying at all. That's seriously impressive!
Don't worry about long comments. I'm usually the same way.

I tried drawing tonight, and it reminded me of why I started writing to begin with. I can't draw to save my life! People like you who have talent are lucky, lol!
Wow, they sound like polar opposites! My families both have either war vets or hunters. I could talk WWII for ours, but I'm no hunter. One side also has lots of hockey players, so they aren't totally boring to me.
That's a mature attitude to have. I was like that four a couple years, but slowly things I wanted came back to me. Most of the stuff is books, or a few dvd's (Had to get Naruto and Negima); but we've all got our weaknesses ^^'
If you're still taking requests, I've got one. But I'm a never-ending fountain of requests, so feel free to say 'no' anytime, lol.

Forgot- your thoughts about NPG's work reminds me of my own about a couple artist's work. I want to write more like Ken Amakatsu when I try my hand at romantic comedies. But my style is different, so it doesn't work. I just wind up doing my own thing. But it's better that way. When you do your own thing, no one can accusing you of copying someone else.

You're right, it would be boring. Art is in the eye of the beholder anyway. And, lol, yes I'm still sure!
lol, one side of my family is really relaxed and easy-going. The other side is wound pretty tight. But neither side is easier to talk to. I'm the only one near my age on both sides of the family (that isn't a complete jerk, anyway).
Sounds good, then^^ I'm happy with what I got, so I can't complain^^

You draw in similar, but non-identical styles. There are differences in your work compared to hers, and vice-versa. But that's what makes an artist unique, so it's good imho. I'd love to be ablt to draw like Masashi Kishimoto, or Ken Akamatsu, but, lol, that won't be happening any time soon ^^'
I try to fade into the background. Most of my extended family irritates me, truth be told. I was always different from their kids because of my horrible anxiety problem (which has since gotten better^^). So I always felt criticized, and as a result, I don't have any real emotional connection to most of them these days. I just wanted them over b/c I'm greedy! XD (jk) Seriously though, they've gotten better, and can be a fun bunch, so it's all good.
Let's see...I got mostly martial arts books/dvds, along with a few games I wanted. People did well following my list this year. I was pleasantly surprised :D How about you?

I can't follow 'natural talent', since I don't know how the two of you practice. I think your drawings are equally good, but in different ways. By that I mean that you two shade differently, or do lineart differently, etc. every artist varies, so I guess that's not shocking^^'
It used to be a bigger deal for me. We always had the extended family over on Christmas, and we don't do that anymore. Although we DID have the party the weekend after Christmas, so I was more into it this year.
Same to you!

lol, I'm glad somone thinks so^^ Maybe knowing all this trivia will be handy someday.
Things have cleared up quite a bit, thank you :D As for NPG's work vs. yours...yeah, you should ban yourself from her gallery, lol. Or, you could do what I do. Another martial arts reference (Sorry for that, lol. Once I know you better, I'll use better references. I just kind of stick to what I know best at first^^'): At one point, I was the senior student. Then, for no apparent reason, I got booted from my spot by a couple new guys. They were good, and it wasn't their fault (A bad instructor with a more distunguished belt was), but I was furious. So I wound up practicing for hours a day. About three months later, I tested for my black belt, and wound up doing pretty well. So, instead of getting depressed by her artwork (I maintain that you both draw incredibly well, but I see I can't talk you out of your opinion XD), take it as a motivator. See what I'm saying?
I had the same problem until Christmas day, and then after the first couple hours. I was happy, but it felt a little...off. I just chalked it up to having not slept right, lol. Some Christmases are just better than others, I guess.

Here's hoping.
lol, I'm such a dork when it comes to martial arts. I just can't help myself^^
You shouldn't feel bad. I'm sure it was something like NPG remembered me complaining about my stories being horrible or something. That, or this unofficial contest we seem to have about who can have more things go wrong faster, lol. Seriously, we both seem to get hit by bad luck at the same time, and in large doses -_-' Not that I have a ton to complain about. Just minor stuff.
Did I ask you how your Christmas was? (If you celebrate?) I can't remember. So I'll ask again: How was your Christmas?

Thanks^^ I'm taking a good, long break from typing stories, so I should heal then.
I didn't start really young. Seven years ago this year, though. But I didn't really get into them until three years ago or so. But when I get into something, I devour every book I can find on the subject as quick as I can. I just don't like not knowing what other people are talking about.

Sorry to hear about that. I AM worried, but I'm healing, so that's a good sign^^
Let me see. I used to take Jeet Kun Do (Bruce Lee's Art), but I needed a break from that. I can't say the name of one of the arts, but it's a sword art used by the samurai. Then there's a version of Filipino Kali (That's using sticks, machetes, knives, fists, feet, throwing weapons, etc). I've got my eyes on a couple other arts, too.

It's not so much pain as it feels like a pulled muscle. I wouldn't even worry about it, except I don't like the thought of surgery.
Karate's a good choice. That's one of the arts I used to take. I stopped for a while because I'm testing in two other arts at the moment.
No problem. I'm positive you'll be great at it.

I'll get something drawn once I've healed a little, then^^ As for my wrists/hands, it's simply too much typing coupled with too much martial arts practice. I should be okay soon.
To find one (they aren't expensive), it's best to check a craft store/hobby store. Someone who works there could describe the thing better than I could. The packaging mine came in is long gone, otherwise I'd just give you the brand.

Lineart is the outline of the drawing (Usually it's Black and White, but it can be in color). Inking would be good for you because your lines are drawn really well. You've got to have a steady hand for inking, and your drawings seem to say you do.

No, you're not stupid. You'd be good at it, I can tell by your lineart. I've got an example of an inked picture here:

It's pretty bad on my part (^^'), but you get the idea. Mostly outlining and adding detail with a special type of pen. I'm pretty sure you'd be good at it.

yeah, NG is a great guy. he is one of the nicest people I have met here. Anyway. Yeah, I have had a few gifts given to me. not many though. I Wish I had more time to do requests and gifts back. I have done a few but not for awhile. Anyway. I appreciate the comments on my art. Anyway, yeah, you are indeed a very good artist. paws down. You are every bit as good as myself, NG and NPG. you have a style all your own and that is what makes a good artist. Don't be so hard on yourself.

No problem. I figured A1 would be the first to respond. But he beat you to it? lol, funny coincidence.
For shading, I mixed two pieces of advice: Use a mechanical pencil (The tip is finer, so you can do detail better. Thta, and when you stop to sharpen a regular pencil, sometimes you get a slightly different shade), and shade all in one direction. So all the lines go \\\, instead of \|//\. Shading-wise, I'm not sure between you and NPG. I think you have different styles and they both work. It's hard to judge, since I don't really know art.
Don't concern yourself with it, there's no rush. Take all the time you need^^

I wouldn't worry too much, it'll all come with time :D
The funny thing is, I can give advice, but I can't follow it myself. Even with drawing- I can't personally do it, but I can tell someone how to shade. It's really weird, lol.
Like you said, it's hard to tell since I just met you, but my first impression of you was a good one. You come across as polite, and that's rare, especially on the internet. Aside from your great drawing ability, that's really all I can say.(Since I haven't known you all that long yet)
It's alright, there's no rush whatsoever^^

Well the pleasure is all mine. Any friend of my two best friends on the web is a friend of mineout me . I would love comments on my art. it's like pulling teeth to get them from alot of people. I may not comment on a persons entire gallery, but I try. Anyway, So you were gonna be contacting me here in a bit? (barking laugh and flattens ears happily)That's kind cool. Anyway. You have heard alot about me? like what. LOL. ANyway. I am glad you like my art. I try. I don't get to draw as much as I used to. I wish I did, but sadly life makes it hard to find time. Anyway. are you kidding? You are really really good. If you keep working on your art I can't imagin how even more amazing your art will be than now!!!! You are really talented. Don't let anyone else. even yourself say any different.

You've just got to take your time, and comment as much as you can. That's really all I did. I can recommend a few people, actually. They don't come on as often anymore, but they're good people:
MrGimp
Childoftheferal
Flashthehedgehog
Alchemest1 (And his fiance, Subcultralgirl, who uses the account, too)
Midnight_Chaos
Vinca
roadrash
Don't get discouraged if most of these people don't answer, or don't answer right away. Most of them have left the site in some capacity.
All my friends are talented artists, so I tend to ask them. I'm not a stellar artist myself (I'm a little better with fics), so I always ask other people to draw my OC.
I'm glad you think so. I just have a lot of experience with various problems (anxiety, etc). I don't mind helping. Some of them...kinda glad they don't always contact me, truth be told. I give advice (If I can), now work miracles, lol.
NPG is always making gifts, you're right. I owe her for an art trade, come to think of it. Oh wow, I'm like four months late! lol. Yes, you're as nice as she is. And talented, too. Put it this way- everyone of my friends on FAC is a talented artist and a good person- you deserve your spot easily :D
No way, I like seeing how different people draw him :)

Wow, tactical error on my part. I linked that pic because (like I said 100% truthfully :D ) you and NPG draw in similar styles. As for her getting comments, give it time. You will, too. Just comment alot yourself, and you'll get lots in return. Most people on FAC are like that; they won't comment just for the heck of it sometimes. And besides, I don't get the requests either. The only time people want to talk to me is when I can give some kind of advice, strangely enough. I think I even had one girl tell me 'I wish my boyfriend was more like you'. THAT was hysterical, though I was kinda like 'you're kidding, right?'
Anyway, give it time, you're still kinda new here. Keep posting work, and the comments will come.
Ah, you didn't hear the whole story behind the Ryouko thing, though! See, NPG read a couple of my fics and really got behind the RyoukoXSakura pairing. Then we both were into Death Note, and I joked about how funny it would be if Matsuda and Ryouko were in Ouran. It all snowballed from a few weird conversations. Besides, I didn't ask for those, it was NPG's idea to draw them. (Kinda my fault, b/c I inadvertantly give her ideas. I think I was somehow partly responsible for the 'Death Note Bunnies' pic ^^') Trust me, I don't ask just anyone to draw my character. It's prob not a big deal, but it means a lot that you would agree to. And I'm NOT just saying that :)
Anyway, dont' worry, you'll get a huge set of fans yourself I bet. It's like pulling teeth to get people to comment around here. Trying to tell yourself that NPG gets more attention isn't being fair to yourself. She's been here for three years, lots of people have heard of her. Give yourself time to meet people :D
(And of course I'd still like you to draw Ryouko, if you still want to :) )

I'm sure you did fine, you're talented enough^^ As for me...well, actually, let me find a good reference pic first. Just remind me to link it to you, lol. It's not anything hard, but it's one of my OC and I just can't draw the guy right!

The guy on the right. As you can see, I can't draw him worth beans (especially not a kissing pic -_-'- that's just the best reference I had of him.)
If that can't work for you, let me know, no biggie^^ And let me know if I can draw/write something for you in return!

Well, if NPG said it, it's the truth :) I've never known her to lie. lol, the 'unreal' comments- that HAS kind of become my signature comment XD.
Please don't let my opinions of college be your primary source, lol. If you've seen my comments with NPG, you know I'm a pretty pessimistic person when it comes to my work. That carries over to college. College is good- I just don't really live the life. I don't stay there, and I don't stick around after class, so my opinion is of classes only. I don't make friends easily in rl, so I tend to see the bad side of anything involving me.
Anyway, now to get commenting! I might not get to all your pics, but I'll hit your most recent work at the very least :)

It means I get to stay in college, lol. I just got my bill for this semester...I also got a bad mood when I read it. oy vey. How do they sleep at night, charging that much? Oh well, can't complain, I guess.
Sure, I'll be glad to take a look. I'm a little swamped with chatters atm, but I'll look either tonight or tommorow :)

Let me see...six years, actually. I've taken four of them, (Isshin Ryu Karate, Jeet Kun Do, Philpino stick/dagger/machete/hand-to-hand fighting (lol)), and a sword art.
There's actually a martial art that combines combat with dancing, come to think of it. I can actually name a couple that you might be really suited for.

Let me know how school was if you can. -giggles- Hope it's going to be okay. And it doesn't matter if you can't make it on today, that's okay. Like you said, you have something else you must attend. It's all good. We can talk soon. No one can tear us apart for forever! NU! NEVER!
And I'll always be here for you. As long as I don't get grounded from the computer. I won't name the other possiblities, because that's just something I don't like to talk about.
Buuut..love you! <3 I'll never cease to say it!
